I've updated the appeal with some information about me, I've also amended the spelling mistakes as helpfully pointed out. My answer re: credentials may not be what you would want to hear. I am not a previously published writer and am, when all is said and done, just a fan with an idea and a will to see it through. All I'm really asking for is a chance.

With Ryan McGowan getting on for the Aussies, it got me thinking about other jags at world cups. The only other 2 I could think of who played for the jags before a World Cup are Alan Rough and Mo Johnstone. McNamara and Donnelly played at France 98 before coming to thistle. With Paton leaving a new club captain will be required. I know SOJ has had armband but personally I'd like to see Balatoni with it. He might be young but he's definitely one of the more talkative on the pitch and keeps calm when others can't (Welsh @ Hamilton?)
