  1. Sure, if you need any help reading it, give me a shout.
  2. The idea that this guy would endeavour to fill the board's heads with a lot of over-ambitious "you've got to speculate to accumulate" bullsh*t (and them buying into it) makes me wince. Surely, given what's unfolding over at Dunfermline at the moment, no-one thinks operating outwith our financial means is a good idea?
  3. It would appear some folk just can't read. To quote myself: "You've probably seen this already; but if you haven't..." If you're going to criticise people, at least have the decency to bring some intellectual integrity to the table.
  4. “I would bring some staff in who have been successful with me at my other clubs — and we would bring through all the young talent at Thistle." For a club that is actively disposing of its stadium to keep on top of its debts (and/or provide comfortable retirements for certain individuals), the idea of financing Brown and his "staff" is pure madness. Unless you're a fully paid-up member of the Tom Hughes School of Accounting.
  5. You've probably seen this already; but if you haven't, try not to die laughing. http://www.thescotti...icle4784792.ece
  6. Chris Erskine's goal against Falkirk in January was a thing of beauty...
  7. The most misguided views I've seen or heard expressed anywhere in some time...
  8. I haven't felt that good since Archie Gemmill scored against Holland in 1978...
  9. Best: Bobby Houston Worst: Jim Slavin
  10. Sorry if I caused any panic - those folk are the queue for Bammy Beverages.
  11. All the way up to the gates of Ruchill Park now...
  12. Just enjoy it mate! Where else on the internet can you sit back and watch Gary Numan and Bungle from Rainbow having a right go at each other?
  13. Hugh Murray in the side for experience? F**ker hasn't learned in all his years in the game to keep his mouth shut...
  14. So you've known we're just customers for a while then? You don't seem overly bothered. Not that I'm saying you should be - I'm not in the business of telling anyone how they should feel about anything. It's just that being new to this forum, I'm finding it hard to get my head around the fact that there's more banter about cold/burnt pies than there is discussion about what, from where I'm standing LOOKS LIKE* the asset-stripping of a much-loved football club. * Text in caps is for the avoidance of doubt, just in case any libel lawyers are watching. I'm happy to concede that I may have the wrong end of the stick here, but I haven't seen or heard anything to suggest that.
  15. Check out the glossy brochure here: http://www.fgburnett.co.uk/_resources/images/properties/277/FGB_2.pdf I thought we were supposed to be entering a new phase of supporter participation in the activities of the club. Well I don't remember the Board posting anything on the club website about this... The suits upstairs would no doubt try to justify this by saying that they live in the "real world". Sorry, but slivers of paper with numbers inked on them, and computer screens with little shapes lit up on them isn't the real world. The real world is about holding things dear to yourself. Anyone interested in trying to get some money together to give Propco their money back, in exchange for OUR football club? You'd think they'd at least give the supporters a chance to organise something before publicly advertising an offer for sale. To these people, we're just customers.
  16. I don't know why any manager would be interested in taking charge at a club whose Board has so little optimism for the club's future that they're selling off bits of the stadium... "Envision". A pretty name for the ugliest scheme I can imagine. I feel like I'm going to be sick in the basin...
  17. I'd prefer to see the south end of our beloved ground being taken off the market. "Outright sale and joint venture proposals are invited." What a f***ing shame...
  18. Had an appointment at the barber's this afternoon. Cancelled it on hearing the news - going to let my hair grow out a bit.
  19. Add another two to the list. I live in Portrush, and I'm mates with another rabid Jags supporter who's originally from Belfast but recently moved to Portadown. Over here, my team is Cliftonville. Scott
