  1. Liberal Democrats: Said bugger all about Atos going through, voted in favour of allowing unemployment benefits to rise at a lower percentage than inflation and also voted in favour of the bedroom tax. With one of there MP's having a hand in creating it! Even though they promised to lower tuition fees (which although doesn't affect us is still relevant) they actually allowed the tories to increase them. There was no compromise, the tories done what they wanted and the not so liberal democrats just sat back and let it all happen. Also showing clear conflict of interest by voting in favour of NHS privitisation which contracts were then handed to tory and lib dem party doners. On a side note my 'enter' key isn't working so I couldn't format this any better!
  2. Shall be heading to McChuills for a couple before hand on thursday then
  3. Its astonishing to see the differences between the clubs now. That game with shuggy I was at a loss how this could be happening, a young well playing side potentially having promotion taken away from them by a club which replaces their full team each season and spends nothing on infrastructure or progressing young players. How much happier I am now! Hope we show exactly why we came out on top with a big crowd and a class performance on the pitch. Plus I fly out to Ibiza the next morning at 5am so a good result could start things off just perfectly
  4. Jaggernaut I completely agree with you. He is athletic, deceptively strong, agile and towards the end was doing well catching other teams long balls on the head and sending them back. He came at a bad time for us and a few people needed someone to blame, so from his very first game he became that person. The ideal scenario would have been to have got time on loan in the championship so he could adapt to not just the style of play here, a full new life. I am dissapointed by the clubs handling of this and feel sorry for the lad. Hopefully he goes on to make a successful career, he definitely has the desire to do so. Just like the celtic away game, maybe watch that Collins Out or a few other games other than that 1 that he is forever remembered for by people like yourself.
  5. Sorry not been on in a long time, I see not much has changed! My excuse is the Vo2 max was 4-5 years ago and I was roughly 17 going on 18 so I got between 62 and 65 cant remember exact but I was proud as some amateur footballer was there that only got a couple more and I hadn't played football for a few years, the whole experiment was interesting they thought because I done boxing it would be an anaerobic sport so my Vo2 max and my recovery time would be bad. Only reason I remember the body fat % is because I have done that a few times recently. If you ever get the chance get yourself onto a set of 'Tanita' scales, very interesting information!
  6. Not quite 4.5% but not bad ;-) done my VO2 max in there about 4 years ago, anyone catch any of the players results through the video?
  7. Excellent move by the club, opening up new potential income streams. Strange though that there isn't any adverts for the jobs that are surely now required to run it.
  8. It totally slipped my mind to check that! I didn't use it to renew so forgot it was even there. That unavailable number might include a kids section unless that's one of the other sections you speak of and the kids are possibly going to be placed right next to away support. Would be excellent if that number was true. It got me thinking how much we have sold when I seen on the OS that Beattie was doing more asking.
  9. Anyone got any idea how many season tickets have been purchased so far? How many were bought last season too?
  10. Pre season friendly at home to wigan then? Haha. That would be amazing! Although slightly hopefull.
  11. Looking at other clubs pricing is probably the best way to gauge how ours is going to work out. St. Mirren: Adult - £285-£310 (increases later you buy) ICT: Adult: £300-£370 (early bird and different prices for different stands/covered/uncovered seating) Ross County: £300-£360 Dundee: £300-£340 (£20 off if renewing) Killie: £297- £330 (£210 for the family stand which is non celtic games) Dundee Utd: £299 - had to register to find price band, no chance! Motherwell: £295-£420! That Phil O'Donnell Stand must be something special. Aberdeen: £285-£425 Only ourselves and St. Johnstone have not released prices. on the basis of teams at our level it looks pretty straight forward that our season ticket prices will be around the £300 mark. Can't really grumble as its giving the club some much needed cash.
  12. Some folk are all take, take, take. £25 to make sure your kid sits beside you for a full season in the premiership is a good deal, quit whining.
  13. Possibly the only joy of walking through paisley these days is looking in JD Sports as I walk by and laughing at the St. Mirren kit
  14. I thought they looked ridiculous on Higgy made him look like a dwarf. Agree with the add ons, particularly because it will make them more popular with the kids sales.
