  1. Is one to eleven Archie's preferred line-up? As it's close to what most of us would pick I imagine.
  2. Cheating a little here with 'Medicine Bow' - The Waterboys. I saw them at the Barrowlands on the This is the Sea tour, an unforgettable night.
  3. See it is confirmed on the official website that Fraser has signed on loan for an initial period of six months.
  4. Just saw this on the bbc website. Is this he worst o.g. ever? Also what was most criminal one by a Jags player and the Best o.g. present from the opposition to us. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23408306
  5. Just noticed on the website that we have signed Ross Meechan from St. Mirren, apparently he came off the bench at the Livingston game. Looks like another under 20's signing.
  6. Dr. Hook - I Got Stoned and I Missed It. Dr. Hook in their best days form the 'Bankrupt' before all those mushy country hits.
  7. The Fannies!! ( Irn Bru should do an advert around them) - I Don't Want Control Of You. From the brilliant 'Songs from Northern Britain'.
  8. Just Like an Arrow - Magnum. I first heard Birmingham Pomp Rockers Magnum on the Dougie Donnelly album show which was on Thursday nights on Clyde in 1978. Not sure which song it would have been but it was from The Kingdom Of Madness album, which I bought a few days later. Magnum are still going today although I haven't heard any of their recent stuff. I saw them live twice once at the Apollo on a joint tour with Def Leppard and then a few years later at the Barrowlands. This from their best album IMHO ' On a Storyteller's Night' Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LZrsq9KMM4
  9. Are they currently showing re-runs of The Comedians down under at the moment?
  10. Jukebox Rebel are you tagged and can't get out much nowadays, that must've taken a lot of time to research and type?
  11. Normally season tickets get you into friendlies for free. Are they going to manage this for the Limassol game?
  12. All Just to Get to you - Joe Ely. A song from his 1995 album Letter to Laredo. The song was co-written by Bruce Springsteen who you can hear sing in the background. There are quite a few versions on You Tube of Bruce singing this, some with Joe Ely. This is not my favourite song from the album but how the hell am I going to get the title 'Gallo Del Cielo' on this?
  13. Now that Conrad has signed for another year I would choose him as Captain.
  14. I was there too! Are you that the guy that tapped me a £1.00 and with interest, now owes me a couple of hundred.
  15. Yeah, they're just a bunch of losers.
  16. Sadly my first thought was Celia Imrie . . not quite the same
  17. I have been emailed today and have been asked to request a seat and need to get back to them before Tuesday. I assume everyone has been too. I found it in my junk mail though.
  18. Obvious omissions . . Gerry Britton ? Scott McLean ?
  19. Almost Saturday Night - Gene Clark and Carla Olson from their ' So Rebellious A Lover' album. Gene Clark was one of the founder members of The Byrds, Carla Olson was in the Textones a pop country band in the 80's. It's a good album and well worth tracking down. The song was written by John Fogerty and has also been covered by Dave Edmunds.
