Archie/Dowie? McMillan can play centre half too but would still like to see another one brought in. We won't get an Erskine replace, people need to accept that. We can get someone to play the Erskine role from within the current squad, albeit not in the Erskine way. Top priority is a bustling centre forward as far as I'm concerned. Also hopeful of getting lawless signing a contract extension but can't see that happening, sadly.

Also, how many ST holders who won't be at the game will give their voucher to a non-ST holder who would otherwise be paying full price. I agree, vouchers should be collected on the day...hopefully along with STs

It's not about disliking one part of the name or the other, it's about the fact we are Partick Thistle and for me it shouldn't be that hard for the media to add a Th when in print. Although I do dislike being referred to as simply Partick, unless its necessary to fit into a song. It's a heartache...

Totally agree, and sponsors might actually want their company name to be associated with it.

Didn't we have something like 6 on field captains at different stages last season (Archie, Shug, Erskine, Praton, Craig and Dools)? Possibly more than 6, who was captain for the QP game?

Pretty sure u can but during all ticket matches you'd need to use the seat reserved in the JHS. Can you reserve a seat for u16s anywhere in the JHS or is it restricted to the kids zone?

The original post was made by the exact same person and said the same thing. The football us at its best in at least 30 years, clearly it's one of the things that are working right now....I guess that's the reason for its omission.

Just because we will be making more money next season than we have for several years doesn't mean we can afford to be lax with any other revenue stream. These to my mind are not major issues yet but should be definite red flags to our board to look at improving. Big businesses don't get to be big by slacking off in some areas because turnover is up. Continuous improvement in all areas is a must for our club and the blueprint for that is right here in this thread.

...any chance of a Th after Partick from The Press Association/Sky Sports? Might be a trivial point but to me it's a pretty significant irritation. What's the general consensus on here? Is there enough strength of feeling to see about remedying the situation?

I fully expected this sort of thing and surprised so many others didn't. One of the many downsides of being a fan in the SPL but also something that's par for the course in modern football. I yearn for the days when live football was a privilege, a rare thing to look forward to. In this case tho, I was gona miss both anyway. Will probably not be able to watch the utd game but at least I'll get to see the Hearts one. Lets hope they announce the live games for the rest of the season as early as possible tho to minimise the disruption to fans.

This. I would add that McNamara's away record, coupled with the number of away games we still had to play, makes it very debatable whether we would have actually won the league if he'd stayed. Archie and Shaggy changed how we played away from home where McNamara would not (as opposed to could not). Anyway, was a blessing in disguise as far as I'm concerned. Hope we stuff them on the 2nd though
