  1. Congrats to the Bino's and their Trust for this takeover. A Victory for Fan Power. ^^^I'm 100% word for word in agreement with this^^^ Ouch. If the red/green dot facility was enabled, that would have been deserving of a green dot NS.
  2. Getting away from 'rhythm' (5 in-a-row!): Night Of The Living Baseheads - Public Enemy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YSpkE2kdbQ
  3. But what about Hoddle and Waddle? Do they forgive? Or is it a case of they should be forgiven? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJNUp1_EDe0
  4. Not quite WWE, but taken up cage fighting i have. My first cage fight, i had last night. Won, Yoda did. With devastating speed, guile and bravery, victorious i was against my chosen opponent. The hamster was caught off guard with my first move admittedly and never stood a chance after that.
  5. Now I'm Everyone - Biffy Clyro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxIviblPRGo
  6. sigesigespunknik, - he is THE man to help you.
  7. Get me into trouble you will, using a word like that, for reminded me of this, it did: What's the difference between a cricket ball and a ginger f@nny ? If you try hard, and I mean REALLY f ing hard, you could eat a cricket ball.
  8. Bring them to any Thistle games, please don't. Unless you wish them to be thrashed and then inserted where the sun doesn't reach.
  9. Just bought some Sainsburys Sausages with a picture of Jamie Oliver on the front. On the back it says "prick with a fork". Can't argue with that.
  10. Tired, bed i need, but just to pick out a few lines from many i agree with about THE BRIDGE: However........ Boo. Hiss. Bah Humbug Grant. Hang your head in shame if brave enough you are. For all the reasons above and many more in this thread and others not even mentioned in it, I disagree entirely with your opinion on this thread - wrong in so many ways IMO (but good nonetheless to have differing opinions it is). May The Jags Be With You.
  11. Not quite sure if you are on a crazy davie type windup, or genuinely are confused, but to clarify: It was a fully fitted and assembled stand (well, by Paisley standards) and had been in place at Love Street for (rough guesstimate) 10 years. It was carefully deconstructed, sheet by sheet, beam by beam, stanchion by stanchion, seat by seat etcetera etcetera. Like a flatpack is much smaller than the assembled unit, the stand is much smaller than its assembled size, and is easily stored in some farmers shed or large storage unit.
  12. At the Firhill version of this, football AND rugby tackles allowed, they should be. Where's the Green Dot button thingy? THISTLE BOARD ARE YOU READING???? (thinking face should be here, but tightfisted admin only allow 5 per post - not much use when you have to delete all emoticons in posts one is replying to, and still don't have enough for your own post - I may ask for a refund from these pesky admin kids if they don't start to cut us smiley happy people a bit of slack in using emoticons to justifiably express our numerous emotions and thoughts) OF COURSE YOU BLEEPING ARE Hiya Allan, Hiya Tom, Hiya Pals !!!! THISTLE 11 v MARYHILL KIDS 100 AUGUST 2010 MAKE IT SO (damnblast wrong character and film, but know what i mean, you do)
  13. She Shells Shanctuary (extended intro) would be a good shout. Amazing what you can do nowadays on a computer and with a wee free program
  14. ^^^these bits^^^ McCall could be a Thistle Legend and deserve to be mentioned in same breath as Auld and Lambie if he gets us into the SPL and keeps us there, especially under current financial constrictions. One element of McCalls reign I do wish to see continued and never dropped, is the Youth setup. I don't think McCall takes that much to do with it (other than going to some games and watching the occassional training session), and leaves the day-to-day running, coaching, organising of 95% of what the youths do and who is signed/released, to Cameron, Donnelly, Gerry (and Hinchy with Scully and Shepherd). But McCall SHOULD get credit for getting it set up and running (and would be entitled to more credit if he did bring them on as players to be regular picks in the team), and his coach appointments for the youths - from the few games I have seen of the under 19's, the young ones are doing mighty fine and every game have seen progress in individuals and also team performances. Hopefully McCall can prove the increasing band of doubters wrong (which 6 months ago I joined) this coming season - and if not get us promoted, at least have us playing some great football, not repeating the same mistakes as last season and constantly being out-thought in the tactics department by almost every opposition team) and showing some genuine progress and hope for the future, and seeing a few of the current under 19's becoming regular features in the first team. Another season like last (where the league was clearly not going to be won by us as early as December, and the subsequent slide), and I will be borrowing the Millenium Falcon from Hans and Chewy and will personally fly him to any club in the UK or Europe in exchange for a recharge on my lightsaber and 20 Regal. For another 20 Regal and a date with Princess Leia, I will drop him off on Mars (though I won't land there, but will literally drop him from 800 feet onto the planet's surface).
  15. Must. Bite. Not. ( admin, can we have a smiley with mouth taped up purrleez?)
  16. ^^^this^^^ and ^^^this^^^ As much as I'd love it to be Bolton, it won't be - after all, what's their cider connection? It will most likely be a team from the South West, like: I'd also suggest Plymouth Argyle or Bristol City (who do have Strongbow Cider as sponsors on the back of their jerseys) as possible opponents - but as it's Thistle we are talking about it's more likely to be less inspiring and will be a lowerleague team like Yeovil (EPL1), Hereford (EPL2) or some Blue Square South team like Weymouth or Weston-super-mare
  17. To correct a couple of glaring inaccuracies within your post TL (there may be others but these ones I am 110% of): McManus says sacking him and Grady was "one of the biggest mistakes the chairman has ever made" as well as various other criticisms towards Rae - printed in full technicolour in various papers including the local Greenock Telegraph The Stand they bought from St Mirren 18 months ago has been in storage ever since - they were supposed to put it up on the Wee Dublin End last close season, but never did due to finances. It will not be put up this close season either. In fact it may never be erected at Cappielow. Rumours are with the regeneration of Greenock and in particular areas around Cappielow, the ground may be sold in a few years time, and Morton might end up getting a stadium built for them even closer to the waterfront - if this happens the Stand they bought from St Mirren may be incorporated into this.
  18. Stick Wit U - Pussycat Dolls ( sorry shit song but top totty  )
  19. All Good songs, but in my opinion, not on the same level of the sonic splendour that is Enter Sandman, and that would provide an apt, melodic and energetic introduction to the players running out of the firhill pitch. I have heard the bass enhanced version of all tracks from the And Justice For All release - under the title And Justice For Jason - assume you have also heard this? We all have our weak moments of doubt. Learn from this you must. Faith in yourself and what you truly believe in is a strength not a weakness. Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering.
  20. The voice of impartiality and teaching I am simply being, young apprentice. You think Yoda-jag stops teaching, just because his student does not want to hear? Yoda-jag a teacher is. Yoda-jag teaches like drunkards drink. Like killers kill.
