  1. I agree with you. Also £25 is buttons for a full season.
  2. I think Hemmings looks no bad, but not 100% convinced after one decent season in Division 1, but then if the price is right he may be worth a gamble.
  3. Perhaps given the situation with the North Stand we could cut the board some slack on the U16 issue? It seems positive that in a meeting for the North Stand issue and even though it was brought up at the end the fans questioned it and backed discussions or a re-think? Maybe on reflection I feel I was slightly more critical of the board over the last few days than necessary. So the above might seem like I care less about fans bringing their kids than I do being in the North Stand, but that's not the case all i'm saying is the board are aware and lets see how it progresses.
  4. Well said. A victory for PTFC as a club tonight. Almost a tear in my eye when I read the news man, so very happy right now. Great efforts everyone. Massive thanks to everyone involved in making this happen, i'm not quite sure who or what group drove the decision at the meeting, but well played and thanks! North Stand is ours!!!
  5. Anyone know what time the meeting is tomorrow? Is it definitely tomorrow or did I mis-read a post somewhere. Want to keep an eye out for updates, in the hope that a solution to whatever problems the board face with Jags fans being in the NS is found. Good luck to anyone on here that is attending.
  6. And be able to stand in the NS for the rest of the games. Yes. While I don't like moving for them, I actually love the view from the NS, it's better than the main stand all season...
  7. Two big statements! Very happy to see the Jags trust release that statement and it's good to see a meeting with club and supporters to actually discuss issues and possible solutions.
  8. Second that, we're all in this together. Sure many fans will lend a helping hand should it be required.
  9. Does anyone know if season tickets are available yet?
  10. His comment is nonsense, I put more value in monopoly money than his opinion.
  11. I agree with you and would very much like to see this resolved before it gets worse. But at the moment I see no other way, the club refused to listen to Ian and Dave. They haven't listened to any other fans who have sent emails. The board have made this decision and they will be held accountable should the club suffer.
  12. Well written email. Still waiting on a response from mine and it was considerably shorter than that... For a season ticket and home game boycott to work it would probably need to be communicated to the wider fan base. Sky sports news website would be ideal. A representative of the fans from the forum could contact them and the club to let them know what will happen?
  13. Grim reading... I'm sure it was that people were annoyed at moving from the North Stand to the Main Stand. Not the movement itself, I may be wrong there. That's an incredibly frustrating statement from the club... Answers the question on next season then. Not sure i'll be there that often to be honest.
  14. The Maxwell comments are very poor, he's managed to probably insult players and fans at the same time. It seems he effectively disregards the influence, noise and atmosphere the NS creates. But what if we weren't there? Would silence or the away fans giving you abuse make the players want to fight for the many draws we've had at home, that could have easily been wins but for a small mistake. Possibly it was an off-the-cuff remark, but probably has a lot of his real feelings in it since he didn't have time to prepare a better statement. Also, I know what you mean.
  15. Definitely, smart lad saying the right things. Better than Billy "sity-ation" Dodds... The shake of the head and looking away when talking about coming back, but the looking towards Jonathan saying he will be training with Sheffield makes me think he won't be back. Hope i'm wrong though, I like guy, a lot more goals in him... Also got a pic with him on Saturday. Good lad for taking the time with the fans.
  16. Did the same minus the mail account, kept it short as I didn't want to waste the time writing it for it to be binned with no response. Wonder if we'll see anything official tomorrow, an explanation would be good.
  17. I wonder if he's heard the same reason that we have. Be interested to know. Wish I could say I have every faith in the board that they have a plan that will benefit every Thistle fan and that this was all a misunderstanding. But I really don't see it.
  18. I think someone was looking for David Beattie's email address and pretty sure this is it [email protected] it responds email verification anyway. Drafting an email just now. Don't expect a reply.
  19. Signed last night as well. Just thought i'd bump this again.
  20. Couldn't agree more, despicable behaviour. Have you heard from the club recently on thinking it's just a few angry fans? If that's the case, they should read the forum, view the petitions... I think they are way off the mark with that. I'm surprised as well at the amount of people i've spoken to on this and off the forum about it, very, very few people have said they will be attending matches next season let alone buying season tickets.
  21. I said earlier I thought this was strange the lack of official announcement. But you make a good point as well, has anyone actually spoken to someone at the club to renew/purchase a season ticket? If so what was the response? Might phone up myself and ask for one in the North Stand.
  22. Main stand, but as yet no official announcement. To be honest, the noise in the North Stand in the first half wasn't as loud as other games this season until the second half. I thought it was a bit strange as the fans nearer the Main stand side are usually pretty loud but I think the news may have affected that.
  23. What email address is everyone using to contact the club? Hoping to send a mail later today. I wonder if the decision to let two fans know and no official announcement as yet is kind of testing the water so they don't have to back out of an official decision should this backlash be enough to convince them this is a terrible idea?
