Alex deserves a crack at managing in the SPL. I'll never forget "gesturegate" against Dundee at Firhill. It remains the only time where I have pissed myself laughing at Thistle conceding a goal. I wont be able to make it to Annan, so I'm hoping for Dumfries on the first day for purely selfish reasons.

I'm glad some people on here realise the Alan Hansen "judus" stuff is a lot of crap. I'm sick of explaining to people that he was filmed celebrating in the BBC studio when Portugal knocked them out of Germany '06. It makes my blood boil when people come away with the old "he refers to England as "we" argument". What a lot of nonsense.

I'd like to nominate David Klein, the keeper who done his best to de-rail our title challenge in season 01/02. He had a solid debut in a 3-0 win over Clyde at Firhill, but it all went downhill from there. He threw in a late winner for St Mirren at Love Street and he dropped the ball at Coyle's feet to give Airdrie an equaliser deep into injury time at Firhill.

Dumfries on the first day would be ideal.

The shout of "better off wae a ****** roundabout in midfield Campbell" from someone in Dingwall, pretty much summed up his time at Firhill.

That's a little unfair in my opinion. He certainly wasn't great for us, but he came in on loan when we were in a dire run of form and we had a really poor team. He also recieved some pretty disgusting abuse about his personal probems from our fans, yet he was one of the few in that team who really looked like he cared and he never gave less than 100% in any game I seen him in.

Kenny Brannigan for me. I've never heard our fans abuse one of our own players quite as much. In this case it was completly warranted. He was a total disgrace.

No we shouldn't. A shower of daft, pished boys staggering about with their tops off isn't creating an atmosphere. It's the kind of cringworthy crap that you would expect from the Tartan Army. Why not stick to singing our songs loudly? We have many original songs to be proud of. Also, who are you to say ultras are not welcome at Firhill? Are you the spokesman for the Thistle support, because you certainly don't speak for me or my mates.

Good riddance. Hopefully others will follow suit.

Incorrect. Annan is between Dumfries and Carlisle. I'm sure it would be posssible to get to Carlisle on the West Coast mainline and a train to Annan thereafter.
