  1. I actually enjoyed that game. For an end of season fixture both teams showed a commendable desire to win. Not a great game but chances at both ends. Great goal from Doolan who looked really sharp while on. MacBeth looks a confident, composed player. Can see him featuring reguarly next season.
  2. "Kenny Deuchar would bring a lot to Firhill. He can hold the ball up, head the ball and prescribe methadone."
  3. Just listening now with the cat sitting on my lap. Pleasant way to spend a Saturday morning.
  4. This is perhaps an odd thing to say but I don’t see Firhill (or any other ground) while I’m at a game. It’s kind of tunnel vision. All I’m focused on is what is happening on the pitch and what is going on in the periphery doesn’t register. That probably doesn’t come across terribly well but I know what I mean.
  5. Could you PM/e-mail me with details on how you would do that? Thanks. £25 for pdf subscription for the programme.
  6. Now looks as if I won't make the game. If someone is certain to be going could they PM me over the next couple of days. Thanks.
  7. If you like your crime fiction try 'The Stone Gallows' by C David Ingram. Set in Glasgow. BTW I really miss Rebus. Quite fancy reading them all again. Struggling recently to find something that I've really enjoyed. With time on my hands I'm looking for any recommendations.
  8. I think getting the balance right between keeping people who can’t get to the games engaged with the Club and providing a disincentive to go to the game is actually quite tricky. Football supporting is becoming an increasingly passive thing in any case. Remember too that the Live Text Commentary hasn’t been without its’ problems this season. That can be tolerated while the service is free but not if people are paying for something.
  9. Even though I know that they equalsie about a minute later and that we will lose the replay Damon's goal still gets the heart pumping. To this day I don't know how I kept quiet in the Ibrox press box. I remember shaking with emotion when the ball hit the net and muttering "I don't believe it". Just as an aside there is a free bar in the Ibrox press room (or there was then) and I can remember taking advantage of it at full-time.
  10. This season was Kieran's first as a Modern Apprentice (or whatever it is called these days) and has another year to go. Oh and, the boys haven't put pen to paper yet blah, blah, but will do probably tomorrow.
  11. I aim to, I'm on the right side of the city for a trip to Airdrie, but Saturday night may intervene. No live text updates I'm afraid. Feet up time for me after 4:45 on Saturday but I will try and get info on the OS as soon as possible.
  12. Semi-Final details here: http://www.ptfc.co.uk/news/2009-2010/april_2010/semi-final_date_for_under_19s
  13. He has still 2 years to run on a 3 year contract does he not? In which case Dundee may wish to release him but if Clarke doesn't want to go, and what other full-time contract outwith the SPL is going to match what he gets at Dundee, he'll be going nowhere.
  14. We do albeit a lot of them are arranged at relatively short notice.
  15. MacBeth played the whole second half and Burns came on after about an hour. Missed a couple of chances but played a big part in the winning goal and looked really sharp. That's close on 20 for the season for the 19s for him this season which got off to e belated start for him because of injury.
  16. Thought I'd post this link as much to see if everything is working okay but worth a wee pat on the back to Ian Cameron's under 19s all the same. http://www.ptfc.co.uk/news/2009-2010/april_2010/todays_youth_results
