Had a look, there's really not a lot of bargains in the field this week! Unless you fancy a bet on Harrington suddenly regaining form, or one of the Scandanavians who do so well in Europe but never really bring their game to the US. Opted for a few quid on Vijay Singh to finish in the top 10, at around 12/1. Will ponder a couple more bets over the afternoon!

Frustrating. That's the word that describes just about every golfer's game I'm sure! Clarence, I was in the same situation for the last few years. I just wasn't making time for a game, and it's too expensive a pastime to do that. Got back to playing regularly only a couple of weeks ago, and even that practice has seen my handicap drop by a shot! Need to keep it up though. Does your username refer to your liking for Strokin' ? I don't have any good ideas on who is going to win the US Open this year as yet, and usually I have a couple of e/w bets on by this time! May have to go have a look this afternoon.

As much as I might have an opinion on the character of the people agreeing to do these things for money... I'm sick of this particular tabloid trying to create news by trapping 'celebrities' in these scams. You'll sell papers if you report the news that is already out there in a proper manner.
