Top team in top tier - will be the Toon! Howay the lads! So you see the sort of sporting life I lead, Partick, Newcastle and Scotland....surely too much for anybody, oh and since I moved, I like to follow North Melbourne Kangaroo's (they are near the bottom of the Aussie Rules league, but won yesterday). WHo needs winners?

While I agree its not really representative to make statements like wosrt supporters on the basis of one game, if the whole negative atmosphere surrounding Firhill and the team that has saturated the forum over this season in particular then these guys are probably correct. As fans of the only real team in Glasgow, we need to take a long hard look at ourselves and decide if we are supporters or not, often its hard to tell. Everybody is entitled to an opinion, especially those that attend loads of games, but the clue is in the name supporters, maybe we are guilty of being critics more than supporters. Fans should be able to voice their opinion and letting the team know how they feel is pretty valid but at the end of the day we should be backing the players on the pitch, otherwise like this season the players are almost afraid to play at home due to the attitude of the home support.

If you can sit and watch the Jags and appreciate the efforts, while all those around you are losing their heads, then you'll be a man my son (or else you're not really paying attention).

This Fulham story is what football is all about. I think its brilliant and would love it, really love it (to quote an ex-Fulham manager) if they won it. Roy Hodgeson has been a success at every club he has been at except Blackburn, who gave him 5 mins to prove himself. He was manager of the Swiss national side and completely transformed them. We really did miss a trick there! Anyway, best of luck to him and his players.

Can't see the problem with wearing a kilt to a Scotland game, is it not the national costume of our nation? You should be proud of it laddie! I really hope England don't win the World Cup, I even moved 12,000 miles just in case but theres enough of them here to make life miserable if they do! I think I've said it before, I am OK with them winning matches upto and including the quarter finals but please no more!

Clocking in from sun soaked Ballarat in Victoria, Oz. I think the last good performance from the team was my last game up in Inverness (2-3). So I have convinced myself its not me thats been the jinx for all those years. Love this whole Nomads thing, 12,000 miles away and still talking Jags!

Maybe the fill Firhill campaign is just the clubs way of saying "Thank You" to all the fans for the unstinting positive support they have given the team over what was a hard season. Or maybe the fill Firhill campaign is the clubs way of saying "Sorry" for all the past poor performances this season and the lads are going to win 17 - 0?

Woohoo! Here goes to a long and happy future for our new forum. Thank goodness there is somewhere us exiles can continue to use to rant and rave and generally get rid of all the exasperation and frustration at not bring able to get to games anymore! The cat will be pleased!!
