  1. I'm happy for you to explain your thinking Craig. Let me start you with a couple of questions. Once the budget is set (the responsibility of the board) WHO chooses how to spend it? Who chooses the team? Who chooses the tactics? My point in case you're missing it is that, hard to believe, we may not be the only club in the UK with a crap board. I was in Glasgow last week but chose not to go to Cowdenbeath because I didn't think I'd be entertained. I think I was right. 1st time in 46 years I can remember choosing NOT to go to a Thistle game when I could have. That's not the Boards fault.IMHO.
  2. Nonsense. The running theme on this forum and previous ones of everything being the BODs' fault is boring. The reason people don't go to Firhill anymore is lack of success, and worse in my opinion, lack of entertainment, It's not rocket science, is it? Bad signings, bad tactics and bad luck are hardly the BODs' fault.
  3. Interesting. Considering those highlights were put together by Raith, and considering all the rage in the reports from the people who actually went to the game, I was surprised by how many chances we appear to have had, even when down to ten men. Going on those highlights we have to take our chances, that seemed to be the only difference between the sides.
  4. Waited for someone else to answer this because I'm not 100% sure I'm right but I thought the idea was dropped because of the new SFLTV.com free highlights. (They put the Alba Cup 1st round highlights up. 20mins including Jags v Clyde.
  5. Don't mind really as long as it's not another 1st Div team. Playing them 274 times a season already is plenty. Having said that, getting Hearts at home would be a bit tasty.
  6. The draw for the Second Round of The Co-operative Insurance Cup will take place:- FRIDAY, 6TH AUGUST, 2010 QUEEN'S PARK FC SOCIAL CLUB (LESSER HAMPDEN) 10:00am
  7. Yeah, I'm watching but really pissed that the BRITISH broadcasting company don't have the game or even commentary on live. If it was an ENGLISH team you can bet they'd have it on the radio at least.
  8. And your proof of this is..........
  9. I met Shuggie for the first time on a plane up to Edinburgh a few weeks back. Looks exactly like he does on the internet! I miss his lists. Seems to me the main priority for our group should be to keep up the pressure on the club to move forward with plans for some form of 'official' live commentary and highlights packages. Been talked about for almost three years now as far as I recall. Bit strange for the club to ignore such an obvious revenue source, but then strange seems to have taken over from unpredictable as the nickname for our club.
  10. Are you going to the semi-final Tom? Any chance you'll be doing text updates on the 'fishal site?
