I remember looking at Dundee United's website a couple of seasons ago, where they advertised their season ticket sales with an online counter, trying to boost purchases to break a certain number. Can it not be argued that Alex Ferguson is directly responsible for just how poor Manchester United now are? By not investing long-term in the squad he used up all the bog roll before buggering off out of the loo. You could blame it on the owners - they obviously have their faults - but it's not as if they haven't splashed insane amounts of cash when asked - this season and last.
