When doing your calculations remember that there will be a few hundred fans included in our attendance that get free entry and that every extra fan over the teams below us in attendance terms is not going to be a £17 paying adult. As to why we our budget for players is low I would suggest that it might be because we are still dealing with the poor management of the finances in recent years when budgets with a £200,00 blackhole were set. I think we probably still have to pay the bank a large amount every year in an attempt to get rid of our debt to them.

Glad to see he has signed for next season, he has good qualities but does need to improve in some areas and hopefully will do so. Good also to see the club getting business done as early as possible so the manager has the maximum period to work with the squad during pre season.

I think that his signings have been, for the most part, decent and he wants to play entertaining football. He has come through his first full season and will now have to put what he has learnt in to practice over the summer so that we can kick on next season. There are, of course, things that need to be improved upon and Jackie (like any manager) will have to deal with those to avoid bringing pressure on himself. Possibly not the most satisfactory answer but I just have a feeling that he will prove to be a good manager for us if we give him the time.

I agree that we have some excellent players but I disagree about needing a new manager (you won't be shocked at that). A lot depends on what players we can keep and if Jackie can get the targets he wants if some of the current squad do leave. If we can get a good take up on the season tickets initiatives that could help the situation.

Archie is good for another season before he moves over to the coaching side of the game.
