Ok, a quick scan of the previous pages tells me it should be all right to use this question: In season 1972/73 Thistle played friendly games against the same foreign opposition both home and away. Who were they, where did they come from and what were scores in each of the matches ?

In April of 1990 Thistle played a friendly against foreign opposition at Firhill. Without referring to the "Official History" name the team we played, where they were from and the score.

Wish I was as confident as you. In the last week there have been newspaper headlines that claiming that Green has an agreement in place with HMRC and that the h*ns now have come to a compromise with the SFA over their punishment. Whether there is substance to either claim is anybody's guess but I still have a horrible feeling that the h*ns will emerge from all this almost unscathed

I think it's fair to say that Ryan Scully did not cover himself in glory yesterday but I do believe he has the potential to be a superb keeper. His shot stopping is in my opinion far better than Scott Fox, just look at the excellent saves he made in the first half, but he is poor with the ball at his feet i.e. clearances under pressure! He is young and still learning his trade. No one will be more aware than Ryan that he cost us a win yesterday but hopefully he will have learned from this setback and come back stronger !
