  1. It now involves taking a days holiday to get over instead of taking the late afternoon flight on the Friday
  2. So when do Septembers changes come out------ August?, and Novembers------ September?? Will the TV be looking at league positions a month before and picking their games??
  3. This is nonsense for anyone traveling from any distance (ie Norway) we try to get the flights as early as possible to save on cost, usually non refundable too. Plus folk who arrange shift changes at work find out the Saturday they've arranged as free from work is also free from Thistle
  4. So that's Augusts fixtures are they going to decide the changes on a month by month basis?
  5. 10 live games in August, 10 games where the times are being changed, 14 sets of fans having their plans messed about. No wonder the games on its arse in terms of attendances
  6. Think of the static......... will we be safe in the main stand with all that polyester or will we need to go top less
  7. 14 goals in 27 starts (with 48 appearances as a sub) doesn't seem bad to me especially his 11 goals in 12 starts for Livi , he had 4 starts last year and scored 1 goal, my concern with him would be the lack of game time not his goal to game ratio
  8. If this is true then thats great, I just read it from the OP as being 2 different debts
  9. Glad of the clarification so £1.02 Million in debt then
  10. So show me how Scotland would be better off Independant, I have stated that from an oil point of view yes there is money..... but not as much as the Norwegian fields or the same amount of jobs related to it. I have stated that Yes Scotland has paid a higher level of revenue mostly down to it Whisky export and oil, but Whisky does not make many jobs I have stated that yes EU membership could be atained but there would be financial strings attached At least I can level a bit of debate to it instead of flag waving and nationalistic blindness, having lived in Scotland and Norway I can see it from both sides of the fence and nothing yet has proven to me that we will be better alone, if the vote had went through in the 70's when the oil revenue was starting then I believe it would have worked, but Scotland has an unemployment rate of nearly 8% (Youth unemployment of just over 15%) with next to no pension fund so people are working on as they can't afford to retire leaving no jobs for the youths, compare that to Norway's which is 3% (with 23,000 jobs un-filled!!! work that one out) its pension fund is massive due to it being flooded with the oil fund for the last 30 years (£480 Billion as of March 2013), this is the legacy of all the parties that have been in charge. Salmond and Sturgeon talk about lower taxes, and higher social benefits.... how?? There is a black hole to fill. Think nearly 200000 people out of work on the minimum of £72 a week thats £14.5M a week but its probably 5 times that when the rest of the entitlements are added in, add to that pensions and child credits etc. Scotland and the rest of the UK is loosing money already yes Scotland subsidises the rest of the UK on some things but the UK also subsidises Scotland on others, in a business with 3 other partners under 1 parent company umbrella that can be done, stand alone that is very tricky. Remember our export value on whisky that the treasury takes a high percentatge is due to the fact as a strong UK we were able to opt out of parts of the treaty, smaller countries haven't been able to. So explain to us that aren't convinced why would we be better of independant?? The floor is all your jaggernaught
  11. So from £1.6 M in debt we paid £800K off leaving us £800K in debt after Plopco We are now £600K in debt with a £417K overdraft on top leaving us £1,02M in debt now Maybe I'm putting 2 + 2 together and getting 5 but although our "Loan" debt has dropped since Plopco our overall debt "Overdraft + Loan" is actually up, and what about these "Soft Loans" we heard about last year to Europa are they still needing paid
  12. Probably lack of cash or shall we say being frugal with what we have
  13. This ^^^^^^ but that would stop the OF and any club with a rich sugar daddy (Gretna, Morton, Livi, Motherwell, Dundee, Hearts, Kilmarnock) living outwith their means, if sense had prevailed how many administartions (I can count 9 from the list above Rangers, Livi twice, Dundee twice, Morton, Hearts, Gretna, Motherwell) would be saved and how much fairer would the game be and much more importantly how many small businesses would have been paid in full instead of 3p in the pound.
  14. If Archie rates him and wants him, that will do for me.
  15. So £1.4M in debt 2009, we then lost 100K (2009) & 200K (2010) = £1.7M in Debt, but we state we are only now in Debt to £600K so thats a £1.1M swing (Even removing the 500K for Propco thats us dropped the debt by another 500K) Or Taking into account our 417K overdraft + the 600K bank loan = £1.17M in debt add to that the money we got from Propco (500K) and we are at £1.67M we have reduced the debt by 30K by my reckoning not allowing for Propco and seem to have moved some off it from a loan to an overdraft............. or am I reading this wrong
  16. 4 days of the smokes and now starting to feel good..... This time I will win

  19. Save your cash they were crap at Heaton park
  20. These recently independant countries were either eastern block and seriously poor with very low wages so investment came in, but they all ready had their own currency army passports etc, or broke up through wars and the UN & NATO set them up, and none of them jumped straight into the EU within a year, try at least a decade and some like Romania are still trying, they knew they had no god given right to be at the top table and have been working over time to get there, uncle Alex believes Scotland will break away one day and be there the next day. Alot of these countries are struggling with debt, corruption unemployment etc and if it wasn't for the rediculous low wages inward investment would not be there.
  21. The ground holds in excess of 10000 in its current state, we will fill that 2 or 3 times next season, spending any money on a stand we will only open 2 games a season is ludicrous Building a new City end stand and a new main stand will cost us between £3 & £5 million, we have just started trading at a profit the interest and repayment cost on that alone will have us trading at a deficit.
