No issues with the stewards doing it - I agree they are friendly enough, but this is a ridiculous club policy. I was at two much higher profile games in England the other week and the match day experience was miles ahead. The way Scottish football fans are treated is a disgrace.

What is this all about? Last four or five games I've been to, everyone has been searched going into the North Stand - doesn't happen at any other ground - matchday experience is already dismal at Firhill and this seems an unnecessary addition.

Never understand how fans can fail to get up for games against Rangers (RIP) and Celtic. Bottom line is, however unlikely it may be, we're always only 90 minutes away from one of our greatest days as Thistle fans.

Apologies if this has been covered anywhere else. I emailed the club and had no response. I bought tickets for the Aberdeen and Hamilton games through the website but I've not heard anything back. Does this automatically go on to the "fan card" I have from last season when I bought tickets for other matches or should I have received a new card through?

First half was dreadful stuff. I thoguht we improved a lot in the second and edged it, although they did miss two good chances towards the end. Seaborne makes a huge difference at the back and as well as the others i thought Higginbotham had a decent second half. All in all, I'm happy tonight - reasonable performance and first quarter final for 13 years.

Don't understand the logic of the fans who see this as meaningless. We have a real chance of winning this trophy - just look at the other teams who have done in the past 10 years. Obviously I'd want to win both but if I had to choose one of the two Saints games to win it would have been this - now we just need the draw to be kind to us.

He's not signing and never will - that's all that matters. Novo is several rungs higher than the pantomime baddies we've loved to hate over the years. I'd rather play with 10 men every week than sign him.

I see they've got a sign outside inviting fans to join them for every home and away game. With all the talk on an earlier thread about all Scottish Premiership games being available online in some form or other is there anyway they could actually be showing the games? The sign certainly suggests it but I'd be astonished if it was the case.
