    When you're the Scotland manager the very least I expect is that you take an interest in, and try and promote the game in Scotland at all levels. The current incumbent miserably fails that test - totally disinterested on all counts. Have you ever heard him speak about the game in general or show up at a match out with the obvious?

    Indeed. The bigger picture needs to be looked at - it's not that long since PTFC were at the bottom. Fast forward to now and even the biggest Jags pessimist would struggle to make a case for relegation.

    Sorry I wasn't clear - where one / both of the teams involved are in the current bottom 6. So take 7 points off the PTFC total ( 4 v. Hearts, 3 v. St J. )

    The improvement Edwards has shown is fantastic. If players move on to better things and PTFC are well compensated so be it. Is there a better keeper than Cerny in the league?

    Lets be honest - it may be unpalatable but crowds are down because the product on offer is atrocious. In the last few years I could count on one hand games @ Firhill I genuinely enjoyed. To be honest I'm surprised that matches such as last Saturday can still attract 3000 customers with the multitude of options on offer.
