  1. Great result. Proud of the reaction from the players and management. Calm heads were required today given the last week of negativity amongst certain sections of the support. Great day to be a Jag!
  2. Title threads like this do nobody any favours! We're all disappointed and the players and management will know how awful they were and I'm certain they will react and take collective responsibility to improve next Saturday.
  3. It was an awful team performance yesterday. The players are already thinking about their summer holidays and simply didn't turn up! Cerny is a big miss for us and whilst Scully should be given the chance to develop, I do wonder whether Archie should've picked Gallagher for at least the first few games (since the split or even before it) in a bid to get points on the board. Scully is a decent shot stopper and I'm sure he will come good but Cerny and Gallagher strike me as commanding, organised and experienced (particularly with the run of games ahead). Could Scully of saved the goal at Ross County? Who knows? There is no doubt that a repeat of a performance like that will mean we're in big trouble. Inverness seemed to bide their time and then just wait for us to lose the ball and then hit us on the counter-attack. Many times this season, we've had the better of possession but done hee haw with it. Surely, Archie needs to think carefully about his tactics over the next few games and deploy a shape that will suit the players we have at our disposal. Let's keep the heads up!
  4. Great result tonight and another clean sheet! Well done Jags! On a related note, I can't help but notice the polarised journalism following tonight's result. It's no secret the BBC coverage and admiration of Thistle is questionable at best throughout the last few seasons: BBC writes: "A late deflected strike by Steven Lawless secured a vital win for Partick Thistle in their bid to avoid being dragged into a relegation tussle". STV writes: "Steven Lawless struck a stoppage-time winner to revive Partick Thistle's top-six hopes with a 1-0 victory over Motherwell".
  5. Billy Davies being suggested as Killie's new manager: http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35452867
  6. Today's Sunday Mail reports Barnsley has joined the race to sign Banzo. Apparently he visited the Yorkshire club last week.
  7. Great result for the Jags tonight! Keeps the momentum going into the Celtic game. We have nothing to fear and this recent run of results and tonight's must give the lads lots of confidence going into the New Year.
  8. Got my prediction spot on this weekend! Well done Jags! Two really good strikes and a strong team performance against a decent side. Let's hope we can push on from here against Accies.
  9. I'm confident Jags can get a result tomorrow. 2-1 Jags is my prediction.
