While generally impressed with Rowson and Cairney in midfield last year, Hodge, Erskine and Corcoran could be good in games and dreadful in others. However Hodge and Erskine were young lads and making a big step up so more inclined to give them a chance next season which will be make or break for them. Corcoran on the other hand had talent and was not just a young lad making the step up, he was 29 and had previously been in the SPL, seemed more his attitude that he maybe thought like Lovell he was better than what he was. Not sorry to see the back of him especially if he was in addition to having an attitude problem a bit disruptive.

We appear to be linked with Junior players I doubt very much any of them will be much better than McLaughlin, of course I could well be wrong. All in all I think som eof the criticism of McLauchlan is a bit ott, if the guy signs for Thistle then surely he deserves to be given a chance. Its all very well slagging off some of the players we saw put in poor performances last year but give Scott the chance if he does sign for us before getting on his back.
