He sure did..He said Saturday would be too soon though...It's now Tuesday so obviously that ones dead in the water..He also said one potential loan was away on pre season with his club

Certainly no need to hit the panic button yet and I am certainly not one of the doom and gloom brigade but I don't as yet see us learn from last season. Our problem was goals last season. Yet again today we scored first then hung on and eventually lost on penalties. A serious case of de ja vu in my opinion as last season we lost countless points on needless draws and last minute losses be because we failed to finish off teams. So let's have less of the left sided defender is the priority chat. Even if we don't get another defender in when Abs and Booth return I guarantee we don't loose many goals this season. We need Goals Goals Goals so let's get that striker/forward player or two in which will sort this issue for once and for all..PLEASE ARCHIE!!

All Be it a friendly 0-0 against League 1 standard is a decent result..Defence will never be a struggle for us as we have two of the best coaching them day in day out and we have always been solid under Archie..So can we please as i am sure we are concentrate on getting the right attacking player in who's going to assist Dools in the goal scoring department wether that be a midfielder/winger/striker..This is absolutely our priority not a left sided centre back although one of these are welcome also

I honestly can't believe we have some on here saying "a left sided centre back and we are fine" are you serious..if we have any hope of staying were we finished last season or improving we need another goal threat..we lost so many points last season by not finishing teams off..defence was not our issue last season it was scoring goals..We must recruit another goal scorer

24 years old..left sided defender..Wolves,Birmingham and the ugly sisters have all been reported as being interested last season..Finished in the Championship team of the year and I believe he chipped in with the odd goal..Seems a decent lad
