  1. I wonder if he wants to buy a Dundee shirt? That would help them get a little bit of change for the tranfer market.
  2. Added to the fact that we're not very good and hey, cup knock-out recipe!
  3. We've swapped places with Queens. They were unseeded last season, while we were seeded.
  4. Full Draw: * Kilmarnock v Airdrie United * Brechin City v Dundee * Heart of Midlothian v Elgin City * Alloa Athletic v Aberdeen * St. Johnstone v Morton * Ross County v St. Mirren * Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Peterhead * Partick Thistle v Falkirk * Queen of the South v Forfar Athletic * Raith Rovers v Hamilton Academical * Dunfermline Athletic v Clyde
  5. It's a fair walk, but yeah, why not.
  6. First Round Highlights now up on the SFL site. http://www.scottishfootballleague.com/sfltv/co-operative-insurance-tv/
  7. No problem. I think Dundee wre awfully lucky to get past Alloa. The Wasps' keeper seemed to be trying everything to get the ball into his own net for Dundee's winner! Most likely the only goal Higgins will score this season too.
  8. Came across the first round highlights on the SFL site. Their site actually looks professional now too. http://www.scottishfootballleague.com/sfltv/alba-challenge-tv/
  9. IIRC we were linked with him last summer, certainly a player I would take. Was very impressed with him when he played against us for Livi.
  10. Okay, on you go, ask for a trial, I'm sure you'll get be replacing Donnelly in no time.
  11. Bet a fiver you couldn't. It's easy saying that from a stand. On a pitch when everything is on the same level and seems far tighter, not so easily done.
  12. I'll take Queen of th South, Dundee or Dunfermline away, that would be a right laugh.
  13. Seeded: Hearts, Hamilton Accies, St Johnstone, Aberdeen, St Mirren, Kilmarnock, Inverness CT, Falkirk, Dundee, Dunfermline, Queen of the South Unseeded: Ross County, Partick Thistle, Raith Rovers, Morton, Airdrie United, Alloa Athletic or East Stirling, Brechin City, Peterhead, Forfar Athletic, Clyde, Elgin City So, for being a crud team, we get to choose from the less crud teams in the first group. Take your pick.
  14. That game was brutal to watch, absolute murder. Windy, cold behind the goal, atmosphere of a morgue. Couldn't carve out a handful of decent chances against a pub team. Not happy with that at all.
  15. Congratulations to the big man. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/7913072/Who-is-the-fat-guy-who-wants-to-be-on-television.html
  16. Does seem a bit out of plaice on the main forum right enough.
  17. In my mind it's quite stupid the way things were done in the last 2 home games i.e. Bristol Rovers and Clyde. Season tickets in one gate. Children in one gate. OAPs in one one gate and so on. Surely it's better to just have the portacabin open and let people in as they please. My feeling on this is particurly strong because the Turnstile operators never know what's going at all. eg, the Bristol Rovers game. I went to gate 41, presented my season ticket to be buffered by "Season Tickets through gate forty wan". Leave gate feeling a bit puzzled, look above the gate, hey presto gate 41. Eventually got in through gate 44 IIRC. Also, splitting young kids away from their parents, grandparents or whoever seems ridiculous to me aswell.
  18. No contest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSB2qLg9zrM
  19. While we're discussing celebs being spotted at Firhill, Scott Chaplain is another to add to the list.
  20. Kinniburgh is just a horror to watch. Every kick of his is an aimless sclaff and if he's bad on the ball he's worse off it, the way he clattered into the Clyde player for their free-kick was just stupid. Brian Backwards spends more time facing his own goal than the opposition's. He is so tediously slow to get moving at the best of times. A complete liability. Doolan was also quite poor, 2 or 3 decent chances and he missed them all. Apart from that, bullied off the ball like a leaf from a branch. Positives: MacBeth looks promising. Now that he has his first goal hopefully he will look for a sensible pass instead of a shot at glory. Good performance though. Halliwell is not Hinchcliffe, which is good, and he looked safe enough. Kicks were poor though.
