Lambies Lost Doo
Reasonably new into a house and battling with the the winter freeze. Need a temporary heater for kitchen which is baltic while I sort out some double glazing that is not up to scratch and central heating issues. Would anyone recommend a oil radiator or gas heater? Was going to go to the classic Calor Gas Heater but then saw oil radiators. Not sure what's best for cost and heat.
ritchie
Personally i'd go for the oil radiator mate. As a gas engineer of more years than i care to remember i've seen and heard some terrible things happen where calor gas or equivalent type heaters are used. Dont get me wrong they are good at what they do and will heat the space quicker than the oil radiator...but leave it on more than 30mins and watch your windows start to condensate with the amount of CO2 in the room, as i say they are good but personally wouldnt have one. hope thats of some help
