The Nolly

I grew up in Drumchapel and as kids the Forth & Clyde canal was always referred to as The Nolly.

Someone asked me today why it was called that and I had to admit I didn't have a scoobie.

Anyone know where the name comes from?

Liar!

I know for a fact you lived in America about 100 years ago and had dealings with two guys called Hayes and Curry
