Clinically Depressed
Thistle drew 2-2 with Annan. The downpour before kick off turned the Maryhill Juniors pitch into a bit of a swamp, which effectively killed off any chance of a fast flowing game. Our goals came from a Liam Buchanan double, one in each half, and the first from a penalty. Pics will be up later, just as soon as the frostbite subsides. McKennan
Did the voodoo doll make an appearance?
Clinically Depressed
Did the voodoo doll make an appearance? No. Liam's just shaped that way.

Mr Bunny
Report on the offical site. Sounds like a good run out for some players - and Liam getting a couple of goals may help his confidence. Young lad Lochhead seems to be a bit of a player. Semi Nurainen
Should we be concerned that while we had seven players with first team experience in the side, we only managed to scrape a 2-2 draw against Annan Reserves? And 5 at the back, yet conceded two goals? The 5 did include the Bombscare right enough.

To be fair, if you're counting all 5 as defenders, Chris Erskine is also one - and nobody has ever claimed that he's an accomplished defender. He's not accomplised in any position on the park.
Semi Nurainen
Sorry I just meant any 5 at the back, didn't necessarily mean 5 first-teamers. There had been a tendency to say (and I'm sure Bunter has suggested it too) once we get Archie back in the side, we'll stop leaking goals. Not on last night's showing we won't; not even with 5 at the back against Third Division Reserves it appears. As someone pointed out on another thread, a 2-1 gubbing by Cowden and the Binos translates to a 4-0 or 5-0 gubbing by the better sides.
