What is it with our BoD? It seems they take one step forwards and three steps back. I cannot for the life of me understand this decision. The North Stand has given Firhill back it's soul. I'm jealous as hell of all the NS crew as I ususlly have my 10 year old daughter on matchday and only get to go in the NS at midweek games. I was also considering a season ticket as I no longer work weekends. They can ram that now....

I do indeed. He mentioned the Airdrie away game at the tail end of last season as an example of that. However, he have different players now and it showed when they finally did start to click after about 30 mins or so,

Totally agree which is a shame as Inverness is a decent city and away day. Hopefully they will be knackered and emotionally drained when we play them on Saturday. Even better the fact they have a long journey to Fir Park on Wed.

I agree with Willjag. Prince played in a very disciplined manner on Saturday given how many attacking players we had on the pitch and also given the way that many of our players started the game struggling to adjust to the shape the team were playing.

Given the recent negative publicity Peterhead FC have had over the last few weeks, I'm really sad that a Jags fan has resorted to this. It's bad enough racially abusing an opposition player but to do it to one of our own is shameful. Big well done to the club for dealing with it straight away and releasing a statement.

What is quite frankly disturbing (but sadly unsurprising) is that Banzo and Fraser were both overlooked for the Scotland u21 squad. It makes my blood boil when I see that there are 3 (THREE) St Mirren players and a guy who is playing for Morton in there! Stark really doesn't have a clue.

What is interesting is Sevco bumped their gums big time about the big bad transfer embargo that they were under. The first transfer window that comes along where they are able to freely sign players without restriction they sign absolutely no one. There's trouble brewing in Mordor...

I think threads like this singling out individual players are a bit unfair. Remember, these are young guys and probably read the forum from time to time. Craigen might not be having the best of times at the moment but there must be a reason he's virtually a first pick every week. Personally, I think he needs a rest but unless Archie can get another couple in before the end of the window, we have to get behind the players we have.

Paton is a one dimensional defensive midfielder with delusions of grandeur and as Willjag correctly points out, is not the brightest user of social media. He wanted a large sum of money to stay on at Thistle and Archie took one look at his request, refused and, for less money, signed Iaaac Osbourne (who is twice the player Paton is). When Erskine first signed for us, he used to make me tear my hair out in frustration as he would go on a mazy run, beat 3 players and either fall over or cross the ball out the park. Slowly but surely, he managed to add the missing end product to his game and become the hero that he was last season. I for one was delighted to be proved wrong and am over the moon that he is back. Maybe signs that all is not well with RatNamara up in Tayside???

Positive: Thought Barlow was more than decent and really deserved a defender to help him out after the penalty save. Negative: Referee was abysmal. Allowed fouling on Taylor all game. I was impressed with the fact he managed to keep his cool the whole game. Couldn't even get basic decisions like throw-in's right. Substitutions really killed us today. Why put on Muirhead for Fraser when we had Forbes on the bench? What exactly did Elliot offer? And why didn't we bring Doolan on for Taylor with 20 mins to go? Feels like a defeat as K*llie are rank rotten yet have stole 2 poists from 2 visits to Firhill not to mention undeservedly beating us at RP.

Ordered my fancard on Tuesday and am glad to report it arrived today. Also interesting to note that there is a £1 reduction for every match ticket I load onto the fancard through the online ticketing system. It's a thumbs-up from me, Hopefully the system works just as well for everyone else.

FFS! if the manager of Alloa (who Riordan has been training with for the last few months) says he is miles away from match fitness, then how could anyone expect him to get a game for us. Plus he is entirely the wrong kind of player to set an example to our young guys.
