Mad Mull Jag
Yes but they actually produced players capable of playing in the First Division, SPL and above. We freed our best youth player, Mark Stewart, and held on to John McGoldrick instead. How many of our young players would get into a Jags side that is capable of challenging for promotion? I think you will find that Mark Stewart asked to be released from us to go to Falkirk as we couldnt guarantee him the youth set up he wanted to be in. jags on tour
One of my colleagues both supports the Buddies and knows members of their coaching staff. His reaction was "Wooof - you're better off with McCall" is your friend john mcgoldrick? aka the hound?

There was a wee bit more to that than many know. I was a friend of Mark's late father Gordon and was told a few stories of which I would never doubt ! Just sadly true about the old regime re youths. Not a McCall lover but at least this seems to be better organised and managed.
