1971 book: What A Sensation

This book was lying in a drawer at my sister's place for a couple of years after I'd ordered it, until I finally picked it up on a recent visit (increasingly rare) to Scotland, several weeks ago. Has anyone else read it yet? I loved it, from start to finish. Although not entirely innocent of the odd cliche, Lorne Gardner has done a brilliant job of capturing the atmosphere of the build-up to that great day, and how the match and subsequent events unfolded, with quotes from all the Thistle players involved, and quotes from the time by Davie McParland and Jock Stein. And it's great to re-hear (in your head) those famous words of Arthur Montford as the goals went in. There are informative comments from members of DMcP's family, and also a couple of the Celtic players, all creating a terrific picture of that unforgettable day. Many football books I find quite staid, but this one is light and colourful, just like the Jags team of the time and Hampden Park on 23/10/71. Probably my favourite Thistle-themed book (though the Official History is the most consulted).
