thornwoodjag Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 Took my daughter down to the local swingpark in Knightswood this aft.none other than mr charnley sitting there in his working gear,and i dont mean a clyde tracksuit.i didnt know that he helped out the backroom staff at celtic as well.anybody think we could do worse than ask chic to help out at firhill. ps helluva nice guy.even remembered my name when saying goodbye. pps he was there with a child. ppps any other random meeting stories out there. Manager of Newcastle at the time, he was on some kind of reconnaissance trip. My trip to Strasbourg on that occasion was marked by a permanent smirk on my coupon as I'd persuaded Bobby (as I called him) to write down in his notebook: "Quinton Jacobs, Partick Thistle, Namibian internationalist, gifted left-footed midfielder.".
