lennythistle Posted May 29, 2011 Report Share Posted May 29, 2011 We had our wonderful moment at the end of the season with Rowser's goal, following his own personal tragedy. Today I find myself asking, was there a better moment in sport than the gesture made by the Barca players to let Eric Abidal lift the Champions League Trophy last night. For 3 days now I've been floored with the flu and I must admit I'm feeling very sorry for myself. What Abidal has been through in the last 2 to 3 months and how he has fought back has to be an inspiration to all. We debate on a daily basis how football (particularly scottish football)is dying on it's ass. Rowser's goal against Raith and seeing Abidal lift the Champions League trophy last night, show why football is such a wonderful sport.
