rustic
Enjoyed the Tony interview on Radio Scotland about Danny Lennon being under pressure. He ridiculed the suggestion that Danny's coat is on a shoogly peg (good to hear someone countering the media-led hype) but soon got onto Saturday's game and couldn't praise Thistle highly enough for their performance. The interviewer was trying to get him back on track but failed. Fair brought a smile to my grumpy old face!
Mr Bunny
Good to hear that. The line seems to be that we are beating teams because they are poor, rather than we are good. (Maybe a bit about us being young and enthusiastic after promotion but no real mention of how we play. Maybe all to the good as it could let us still surprise a few teams. mrD
its a bit nichezean eternal return that. i remember fitzpatrick saying practically the same stuff as lennon about their position in the league the season after they won 1987 scottish cup... l'escardot
Good Morning Scotland A good interview he supported Lennon, stressed he was a St Mirren supporter that attended matches and praised the Jags http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23926247 Here it is as a new piece on the BBC site Edited September 3, 2013 by l'escardot
The Sunnylaw Jag
It is quite interesting to think that a Thistle result might get a Jags legend the sack and it's not too much of a stretch to believe he might be a future Jags manager . . . in the very long term after Archie has led us to European success of course.
