  1. Watched the game in a pub. Never would have thought I'd ever hear a crowd cheer that loud for a goal against Liechtenstein.
  2. A shame no one photographed Ayr's number 2 when he gave the finger to the crowd. I don't know how many of you have seen it. He tried to play the ball back to a team mate after Ayr was awarded a free kick in their own half. He didn't manage to hit the ball properly and got the appropriate reaction from the Jag fans. When the game went on, he put his hand up behind the back of his hand, so it could be seen from the stands but not by the referee and gave us the finger. Hilarious.
  3. Oh, I see we have a true insider here. How come you know so much about our modest wee team?
  4. Looking forward to it, thanks a lot!
  5. I think I will take the chance and make that my first Thistle match. Is there some place to gather before the game?
  6. Well I think it was a good decision after all. Of course being 33 he's not in his prime anymore, but our midfield looked miserable ever since Khedira left. He will definitely help us. Still it is a shame that our management spoilt the chance to get Petric from Hamburg. Talking about transfers, there is some madness going on Germany. I don't know how much you know about Schalke, but over the last years, they've mostly been in the spotlight for their massive amount of debts. But this preseason, they started to sign players like crazy. People were surprised when Schalke got Raul (and some others), but over the last two days, they have signed Huntelaar (we had a bid for him a year ago, after selling Gomez for 30 millions, and didn't manage to get him), Jurado (both together for 27 mil) and some other guy called Plestan. Sometimes you fail to understand how Schalke can afford transactions like this, when VfB Stuttgart's management can't make a reasonable bid for Petric after having sold Khedira and Rudy for a total of 18m or something.
  7. Hello everyone! Let me use this thread for my first post here. My name is Max and I've recently come to Glasgow from Germany. I'm a supporter of VfB Stuttgart, perhabs known to some of as the (successful) opponent of Rangers FC in last years CL group stage. Your answer reminded me very much of what you can hear (in my case read) Stuttgart fans say about their team these days. We have lost the first two matches of the season, looked terrible against underdogs in the UEFA playoffs and after losing some of our best players, things don't as if they would change for the better. Anyway, I look forward to visiting as many of your upcoming matches as possible, as you seem to be by far the most likable club in town. Cheers, Max
