  1. Are the SFL trying to stop us going to away games? 2nd Jan - Dingwall - really like going to Dingwall, but 2nd Jan FFS. 13th Jan - A Friday night game, sitting freezing your ar5e off! A real test of loyality this is!
  2. Two sets of identical twins in the same team, would that be a first?
  3. Actually prefer away games to home ones, always seems to be a better atmosphere at away games. Find them to be a good day out and look forward to some trips in particular, favourites being Dingwall and Dumfries. Enjoy Ayr too, for some strange reason an evening game. Just one of these old grounds that feels right under floodlights. I'll always remember driving home from that great day in Peterhead, magic, being away just made it all the more special. Looking forward to Culter, a new ground to visit, which is always nice.

  5. Not sure, but is you contact any of the following they will be able to help To book or request further information on any of these please opportunities please contact PTFC: Telephone: 0871 402 1971 Fax: 0871 410 1876 E-Mail: [email protected] Also, you can leave a message on the phone with your name/ number and they will get back to you. Always been very helpful any time I've called.
  6. I worked with some whose name was Jasu Mistry, I remember someone had called in and had asked her name during the call. That's when it went a bit pear shaped, after saying her name about 3 or 4 times the caller had by then lost the plot and was ranting and raving insisting on speaking to her manager!
  7. Buy 2 more tickets and keep the dream alive till late Tuesday night!
  8. I got a reply too, saying they were reserved and can be picked up from Monday pm onwards. If the email has gone missing, then best checking when they go on sale and see if someone can pick one up for you. If you cannot get up to Firhill during the week, I'm intending going up on Tues, so if still some left I'd be happy to pick up 1 or 2 for you and get them to you.
  9. Tell it as you see it.

  10. Tickets reserved for Culter, should be a good day out though just have to remember it's a 1:30pm kick off. I'll begin to relax when, eh make that a hopefully 'if' we go two up. Though if it's another Deveronvale and scraping a 1-0 win, I'll take it.
  11. 1 in 4 wins, surely that makes Jackie over qualified for the Hibees!
  12. What about a loan deal, so they do not need to pay anymore compensation!
  13. If it was, I wouldn't have been saying he's had a poor season. Still if Conrad puts in a few performances like yesterday, would you appreciate he has turned it around or sit on the edge of your seat, praying for a misplaced pass so you can continue to vent your spleen? When a player shows signs of turning things around, lets get behind them.
  14. If he was as half as bad as your comments, he certainly would be!
  15. Lenny, I think you are spot on there.
  16. Neither did I, though to use 'U' in your response may result in Charlie choking on his cornflakes! Shame on you!
  17. I used to stand at the City end when I was a kid - which made me appreciate just how good Roughie was - so agree it is sad to see it now as a grassy bing. However we are a club with a declining fan base and in a difficult financial climate, resulting in some very tough decisions having to be made to keep this club we all love going. Well excluding your good self who 'couldn't care less'. Now if we could somehow get 500 'couldn't care less' fans to turn up on a regular basis, maybe, just maybe things will improve for this club of ours.
  18. I'll read between the lines and take that as agreement.
  19. We were not great in Dingwall though at least fought back for a draw, but have to say I thought today was a lot better than our visit to Starks Park and even though we won against Q of S, that again was a poorer performance than today. We'll ignore the cup debacle with Berwick and friendlies which were part of a pretty dire start to the season. As mentioned before agree it was not good today though still not the worst, not in the top 3 worst of the season so far. Then again that is what opinions are all about.
  20. It wasn't good cannot deny that, though as bad as it's been all season - I wish I could agree with you there, alas afraid not. Guessing you have missed a few games especially on our travels this season.
  21. They most certainly were monumental and a very admirable attempt to dig yourself out of a hole, though still does not make Fergie an Overrated FUD!
  22. I think your comment was ... "Baltoni's natural roll is a Scooby snack, uselsss fat ride." Given he was probably our best player today, and this seems to be the case in the eyes of most of those quoting on today's game, would it be too much to give him a little credit in the hope he is turning the corner rather than a disparaging remark. Giving him a little credit and maybe some confidence too has got to be better than calling him a useless fat ride! Well IMO, but then again everyone is entitled to an opinion.
  23. Mam you were clearly paying attention to the game, unlike some others who I can only assume were having trouble with the setting sun to be blind to Balatoni's performance today.
  24. Were you sitting with Palebluesky, as he came up with the same blinkered view as you. Anyway will repost my comment to him so you can discuss at the next game together. There is no denying Balatoni has not had a great season, however he had a good game today. There were a few occasions where he made clearance headers that had he not managed to get a head to, would have had us in trouble. Also he was very alert making some telling tackles. So if a player begins to play well give them credit for it, rather than spouting blinkered views as you made up your mind you don't like them. Hopefully we will see this type of performance more regularly and if so, he will be a big benefit to the team.
