I now have a severe dislike for the Roy. What level where they back then. I assume they were still Juniors?

Yeah, the last 5 years have been a bit of a shambles, although as long as I have followed them there has been a few scandals. Lucky to still have the club playing. Took a while for the FFF to let them play in the CFA 2. The fall of the club only came round due to liquidation, not results on the pitch. They will be back.

They may still have the money, but I doubt they are getting the same enjoyment at the game as they would going for a meal, or a night out. They may class eating out and having cable tv more important than going to Firhill. This season, more than once, I have put my ticket money towards a night out in the town, instead of watching some of the crap we have served up on the pitch this season. I may be in the minority, but I just don't think I'm getting value for money, and with the games I have attended this season, more often than not I have left disappointed.

I have an interest in RC Strasbourg due to family. In Scotland I occassionaly went to Rob Roy games, although I haven't been to one in a good few years.

Nobody said Ribery's antics weren't bad(didn't see the game so can't comment), but for the size of Drogba the amount of time he spends rolling about the grass is ridiculous. Decent player, but needs to stop the play acting. Back to the game, I thought it was pretty boring. I'll probably get shot down for saying this, but I'm not a fan of Barcelona's playing style. Hopefully it will be a Bayern v Chelsea final, although it probably won't happen.

There is no proof that this flag was in the Hearts end. One of my mates is a Hearts fan and said he didn't see the flag at Hampden and hasn't spoken to anyone who has. Wouldn't be surprised if it was Celtic fans so they can look even more like victims.

That was an awful strip. I really liked the the dark blue away kit with mustard shorts we had about 5/6 years ago.

Does anyone have any knowledge on why he didn't join us in the late 90's? I have heard some people say we turned him away, but on the flipside I'm sure I read somewhere where he is quoted saying "Maryhill Juniors where the best side in Maryhill at that time", so not sure if he just thought we weren't worth investing in as we were in a crisis state. Would like to see him at Firhill. Spoken to a few Accies fan and they hold him in high regard, which is understandable considering what he has done with the club. The Clyde fans would be wound up even more as well.

Was also talking about him a while back. I started to question the quality of that league after hearing that Lucas Akins and Enoch Showumni were tearing it up. Both useless while playing up here.

Great idea. Hopefully something like this can be implemented to try and build a better relationship between the club and the fans.

I may be wrong, but I don't think he's saying the flags would be left hanging up between games. I'm sure a steward could collect them after the game and keep them safely stored until the next home game. Good idea. Need something to try get a better atmosphere at home games.

I read that at first thinking you wanted Scully to play at LWB.

He just doesn't have the pace to get up and down anymore and I doubt we will start any attacks down the wing with him just booting it up the pitch. I'm not sure who else we could play though, unless McNamara re-arranges the formation.

Thats right, everyone should just clap happily and not have an opinion. Hoping for an entertaining game, although I don't see us getting more than a draw out of this game. Will struggle with Sinclair and Robertson missing, although we always play better against teams that attack us, so we could sneak a win. I think Fox should play over Scully as well, but as you said, I would like Scully to get a few more games in before the end of the season as he has done well when called upon. Prediction: 1-1

I now really want Ayr to stay up. Although how can you enter when the fan is being selected randomly? Answers on a postcard please.

If we finish second I will eat my season ticket. We struggle to win back to back games never mind go on an unbeaten run. Falkirk and Dundee will win more games than us between now and the end of the season and we should concentrate on keeping 4th place. I think most teams have given up as they know it's County's league.

Was that the 2-2 game a few years back? If so that was a strange journey back to Glasgow. I think a few folk started fighting on the station platform in Dingwall just as the train was pulling in to take us back to Inverness. Don't know if it was infighting between Jags fans, or just the locals. You can't beat taking the train to away games, even if you cringe at some of the things you've done.

Does the MoM not always have to be a player of the homeside? Great result, and Doolans first goal was a touch of class. Queens are so poor, would struggle to survive in the 2nd division.
