Lawless has not deleted any tweets. Only 2 tweets, one saying pish, because our team got beat, and another saying lol. If this in any ones eyes is slating Archie and his team selection then you will need to show me. Exactly you don't know anything about the contract talks, so stop printing lies, and where has he ever stated that he thinks he is the star of this young team? You have certainly got a grudge against Lawless due to him not yet signing a new contract, so if you make every home game, then why not ask him yourself face to face outside the players entrance instead of writing lies about him on a forum. Never missed a game in 2 yrs myself, and I only have an honest opinion on games I have seen. Dundee United @ home 45min played well Ayr United away played well full game Ross county away man of the match Hearts @home 45 min played well Motherwell did nothing Cowdenbeath turned the game for us St.mirren good 45min Aberdeen did nothing Kilmarnock good 45 min Dundee United did nothing These are the games that I have seen lawless play in this yr and are my opinion of how he has played. Sorry to hear about the hassle you are receiving from the stewards les. One thing that I did notice yesterday was, when Aberdeen were doing the shooting practice a few times a couple of disabled supporters at the front were very nearly ko'd with balls. The stewards just stood and watched and did nothing, then Jim Leighton stood in front of the supporters and protected them from the flying balls. Personally I think this is unacceptable, the club have a duty of care to every fan that enters their ground and placing disabled fans that cannot protect themselves in direct line of flying balls is unacceptable. If this is the only place that disabled fans can be placed in the north stand, then the club still have a duty of care to them and should be providing safety to them, ie stewards blocking the balls. Sorry for the wee rant.

In the current market and also how they are performing, how much are our players worth. The reason for this question is, in the summer Tidser went for £50k, Scougal £100k Livingston excepted, think Bolton offered Hamilton about £50k for Fraser and we had a really cheeky bid for Lawless of £50k. Surely most of our players will have at least £100k on their heads? So being realistic how much are our players worth.... The atmosphere at Firhill is really good, so no need for any fake addition to it. As stated above, would also like the music turned OFF when players come out of tunnel. I think you should ask the players what they would prefer, hearing the fans cheering and singing them onto the park or adi adi adi adi adi oh here we go here we gooooo, blaring out the PA system.

Some amount of knee jerk reactors on here. Still unbeaten in the SPFL, playing outstanding football, 1 of the youngest squads in the SPFL and still they complain. Small question to all the knee jerk reactors.........Do you honestly think we should win every game this year? This team still makes me proud to be a Jag!!!

Totally agree with most of that yoda and would have agreed 100% if the article had been written for the media, but that came from a st Johnstone site ( no meant to be any bigots at st Johnstone ). Hopefully you are right about the rest of Scottish football getting a bigger share of the prize and hopefully we will all benefit by better football, competition, product and demand, but I just cannot see it myself at the moment.

Not according to this Celtic page.the national team don't come into it, but that could be a bonus....The league coefficient is calculated like this. Every team that represents the SPL earns points. Those points are added together to get a total. The total is then divided by the number of teams that played in Europe from the SPL. Example, the SPL had 5 teams in Europe last year. This is how they did. 2012-13 Season Celtic 16.860 Motherwell 2.360 Hearts 2.360 Dundee Utd 1.860 St Johnstone 1.360 Total 24.80 That total is then divided by the 5 representatives and means the SPL only earned 4.96 points for last season. Now, here is where it gets worse. This season’s European Rankings, where we lie 18th, was calculated from the 07-08 season through 11-12 and does not include last year’s points. Now we know what points were earned last season, we already know what the rankings will be for next year. You would think that with us reaching the last 16 of the Champions League would be beneficial to the SPL but it’s not. The SPL will be ranked 24th with only 15.191 points accumulated from 08-09 through 12-13. What does this mean for us? It means that unless another Scottish team improves dramatically and starts qualifying for Europa League group stages on a regular basis, Celtic are stuck in the Second Qualifying round for at least the next 5 years. We might be able to improve the league rankings by ourselves but would need to make the last 16 of the Champions League every year for this to be plausible.
