  1. Really good performance yesterday. Maybe we finally got just a wee bit of luck, but overturning ICT's unbeaten home record is a serious achievement. Well done guys! I think this shows Gary Caldwell assembled a decent (maybe even very good) squad, but was unable to get them fired up or properly organised. I am sure Ian McCall can do both. If I'm right, we are about to start climbing the league. Too early to say at this point, but hey - a league win!!!!
  2. Scott Allison struck exactly the right tone in his interview. Last Sunday reminded us what Partick Thistle is about. Gary Caldwell may have failed in the end, but he has assembled a decent squad of players. Let's turn out in strength and get behind them today and help them bring home the 3 points, then maybe dare to dream about bursting the Quadruple Treble on Wednesday night!
  3. Great post - agree 100% Ian McCall did a good job at Firhill previously and just as importantly has done brilliantly with Ayr. Archie is a Firhill legend but bringing him back simply would not work. Jackie Mac did a decent job at Firhill but has struggled since. How many Jags fans think Jackie would have won the league the year he bailed? I think the players dug deep to get behind Archie for the best end to any season in living memory. Danny Lennon was treated shamefully by St Mirren and is doing well with Clyde but I rank him behind McCall. We could do much worse though.
