  1. Sad sad news. A great presence! Trained Gregorys Girl if I'm not wrong? Cameo role? RIP Beastie
  2. I think RED PVC would be too sweaty to run around in so I think JOMA got it right and chose the correct material
  3. "You'll want to come home, you'll want to come h-o-m-e, Dundees a £$%^&hole, you'll want to come home!" :fan: What radio channel do I need to tune to as driving at time of match aaaaargh!!!!
  4. I've also just spotted the 'trip hazard'. I wonder who it'll catch out first? (Now who would I like to see fall flat on his coupon, hmmmmmm ! !)
  5. With my teachers hat on I would hope someone will check for discarded chewing gum under the seats immediately after each match and give the culprits detention! Do you remember the carnage inside the olde brick dugouts we had in the 70's when a ball came off the pitch with venom and rattled around inside taking out any poor sod who were sat in there? More injuries from that than actually playing
  6. I assumed someone would have updated this with NUMBER 19 = Gabriel Rojo de la Vega Piccolo Although we'll not be able to afford lettering for his name on the shirt.
  7. You'd accept this as a prediction? (and outcome!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JVWTT5tqK8 PS Did a certain Arab team not get the elbow from the top ranks?
  8. Just decided to have a rummage and it was a Pre season 3rd August 1974 against Aalborg BK (I was a Ball boy). I'm going to have a further rummage as I've an 'Autograph Book' from the "Olde days!" which is bound to have more.
  9. you could add, Aalborg Boldspilklub (spelling?) many moons ago. What was our Inter toto opposition? I remember going to the pre match briefing with UEFA? and it was fearing terrorist attack and what emergency alert would go over tannoy. During the same match the opposition player with suspected broken ankle was made to walk off pitch by his phsyio (?) rather than get on my stretcher!!!

Doo doo doo the . . . . . http://ptfc.co.uk/ne...conrad_balatoni Just spotted the one year extension to his contract and guess its come about when his other 'career plan' fell by the way side! https://www.facebook...&type=2 Phewww!
  11. Don't remember him but apparently it was 1979 and only TWO Appearances and NO GOALS, but here's a link. http://www.tmwmtt.com/sql/players/profile.phtml?fullname=Billy+McLeod
  12. Tut, Tut, I just can't believe the pessimism around this Forum and that you are not all forward thinking about this and realising this YELLOW SLAB on the back is what we will need to have, looking ahead to our EUROPEAN FIXTURES in Champions League!!!
  13. Are you sure? That looks like a "SLEEVE" to me Hmmmmm and the shirt tail.
  14. How about revealing it like they do on Roy Walker and 'Catchphrase' a bit at a time ? Give us another square tonight So far I am in agreement, I fancied a BLACK collar but hoped they would be available in other sizes apart from Medium Oooooooooh, the excitement
  15. I guess I could be classed as a NOMAD due to where I live and as I am not a regular attendee at Firhill but feel I have an opinion and my tuppence worth is. . . . Having read this (I do not want to think we are thinking £'s but), we seem to have been held to ransom by thugs who, rather than come to support their teams performance come with the main aim of criminal intention. I would also suggest that those criminals are probably in the minority and wonder what the true Tic fan Association feel. The powers at be are allowing criminals to determine the way they are policed and also are just encouraging them that it is OK to misbehave and reward their unlawful activities with a 'safe' location to throw their flares? Hmmmmmm!!! If they cannot come to sit in ANY stand (wood or concrete) without their flares then they should NOT BE GRANTED ENTRANCE in the first place, IMHO. FLippant comment: What happened if a spokesperson for the 'HOME' team suggested that as we are now in the premier division we reserve the right to also throw flares as a precedent has been set and appears to be acceptable so we'll just stay in the North Stand just incase any of our members feel the need???? I guess a POLICE statement will be very carefully worded, hmmmm. Or have I been away to long from the mainland?
  16. Absolutely no doubt in my mind!!!!!! Dear Robert Reid, remember to transfer that onto the new mantlepiece in a sort of PERMANENT spot!!!!! FOREVER AND EVER as the song says!!!!!!! Championeeeees!
  17. I think you'll find "french teacher" should have a capital letter Magyar! It is 'French Teacher' boy! Stand in the corner and put the dunces hat on!
  18. Yes enjoyed listening to the banter. Well done Jagscast and the Woodside Library for providing us all with an audience with Robert Reid.
  19. Turn your head slightly to the left, and squint with your eyes and you'll see 'Mary from Maryhill' quite clearly grown into the seeded grass of the pitch.
  20. When I was a Ball Boy, it was referred to as the "Big Goals" and the "Wee Goals" but on a positive note, it's amazing how long it could take to retrieve a ball if we were winning!!! That's also where the three wheeler disabled cars parked to watch the games (and they still got skelped by flying balls!)
  21. Is that correct? (no offence I'm wondering if you are telling us or suggesting 1989?) I thought it must have been earlier as the 'Police Shed' behind 'wee goals' isn't there and then I spotted Springbank St missing, hmmmm. Is that a Corpie bus at Queens X Old Tunnel still so I thought earlier. No 'Gents' open air toilet inside turnstiles at North end. And look at the poor old "Tavern" sitting there all alone! I am inclined to think earlier but can't quite read the registration number on the cars
  22. DECO? Is he signing for us? or is that how rumours start?
  23. If my memory serves me right he was known as TAM Gourlay.
  24. I remember heading down to Dumfries to a friends to watch both tellies one with the volume on and one with volume off to watch both Scottish and English Cups. (30 odd years ago.) and yes the sun always seemed to shine. Oh, did I mention a pie and a pint also.
