One of the boys who's in South Africa watching New Zealand has said that the racket is so bad that you can't hear what the guy in the next seat is saying. Might not be a bad idea then?

He's now living and coaching here in New Zealand. Nice fella, speaks highly of his time at Firhill. Can't honestly remember seeing him playing for us though, so can't comment on how pish he was!

Ah. Sorry, Boss. Caught me on a bad day. Agree about the Aussies. I was surprised, but not disappointed, at how bad they were against NZ. Be interesting to see if they can pick their game up once the WC starts.

Not quite sure what point you are trying to make. Don't see what the number of league or rugby teams they have has to do with how NZ will do in the World Cup. Nice of you to get the number of sheep in though, that was original. There are actually 5 franchises in the Super 14 rugby competition, you forgot the Wellington Hurricanes, and I think you'll find that the majority of teams in the top level of the Air NZ Cup are professional as well e.g. Wellington, Waikato, Canterbury etc. As for the World Cup, one difference between NZ and Aussie is that New Zealand aren't under any illusions about how good, or bad, they are. Good result against Serbia at the weekend though. Both Aussie and NZ will be flying home after the first round.

I'm a big League fan and am a season ticket holder for the Warriors here in the NRL. I've got my Scotland Rugby League shirt signed by Hendo (who is a great bloke and hugely proud of his Scottish roots, by the way)

Season starts in August. I was a season ticket holder in the 1st season but didn't renew cos I live so far away I couldn't guarantee getting down for every game. Usually make it to at least 7 or 8 though. It's good, being in a crowd of 32,000 last season who were all supporting the same team as me was an unusual experience!

Just chucking this out there early. I try to get down to Wellington for 7 or 8 Phoenix games every season. Anybody in for meeting up and having a dry sherry or two in the Capital sometime next season?

Anybody know where I might get hold of a Centenary shirt, size XL? Greaves only seem to have dwarf sizes left, which is no use to a fuller figured gentleman like myself.
