Forfar grabbing some more headlines taking the lead against Dundee from the penalty spot.
Currently I count 3 shots on target for us compared to 1 for Cowden.
Possible that Fraser could play at RB? (Where he played for Hamilton) Depends on the height/pace of Cowden team I suppose if it's Fraser, or Osbourne, or Meechan.
Means a midfield of (whoever isn't at RB) Forbes and Craigen I reckon.
The Jags Trust AGM will take place on Thursday 5th Sept at 19.30 in Community Central Halls.
On conclusion of the official business, we're delighted to announce that a certain Alan Archibald will be attending for his first Meet the Manager night!
The evening is for members only, but you can sign up on the night if you need to.
Membership costs (for a year of membership) are:
Individual - £10
Unwaged - £5
Family - £20
Hope to see you there!
Look at every group that has tried to change the way things are done, going from 800 club through the Trust and now OneThistle (even a few ex-directors). All have been warmly welcomed at first, then once the the BOD decide that things are going well they just let everything slip and we return to where we were beore - arguably a worse position since we know how to improve on off the field issues.
As far as the Trust have been told, Iain Dodd is in full control of the CF (I presume this means he has control of the bank account)
The CF has been audited jointly between the Trust and the club for the first two years - we await Iain Dodd giving us access to this years.
In regards to Ian's last question - I could only speculate.
Eddie P was running the CF until Ian Dodd took over, which was round about April/May (club didn't tell us exactly when), though Eddie P had said he was only meant to be involved until December last year in a conversation with our treasurer.
What's the quote about the inmates and the asylum?
We were told that Eddie P hadn't cashed them even though Ian Dodd had taken over the running of the CF. As you say, this is concerning and it actually also affects the Trust as we're getting our accounts done for AGM and it's not good practice having cheques not cashed.
ETA - All cheques were (are) sent to Firhill. One of the un-cashed cheques was even handed into the office.
As far as I know all payments are made by standing order, so not really sure what the issue is. I do know that the last 2 cheques sent to the club on behalf of the Trust (old 1876 members who transfered) haven't yet been cashed.
