  1. Much like how I felt after the game. Doolan really made a difference when he came on. Typical unpredictable Thistle to score a peach like that in what was the final action of a truly awful season overall (bar the first three months).
  2. So the club are going to be charging for all match highlights next season? I do hope they will then have commentary on it and will be making these highlights available within 36 hours instead of the current 5-6 days after a game just now.

  4. Agreed, if that was the only (and quickest) option for change, I'd happily grab it too and hope we are in top 2 (or possibly top 3 if there's a bottom v 3rd playoff for the 14th spot) next season. But have to agree with majority of others here - it's the daftest idea possible they could have come up with, and shows how out of touch those who run the game and make such decisions, are. Until we have an 18 team top league and league cup (with initial regional mini-leagues), the game in Scotland will continue to decline. (League restructuring also has to be backed up by (many glaringinly obvious) findings of McLeish report including in terms of investment in football (and sport generally) for kids from a young age and the provision of decent standard facilities.)
  5. Bit pissed Yoda is. Like that ditty, I do. Groovy.

If we had played with 15 players this year, we might have got some better results. Well, maybe.
  7. Not made it over from the old forum, has sigesige00 ? Amusing, he was.
  8. Apparently lots have been drawn for each tv debate - to determine who speaks first, second and third in the 3 leaders opening and closing statements. Same goes for who stands at which pedestal.
  9. Thanks Uberteeb. Chicofan - that's a big lol on the chuckle scale, so have given you a green dot in recognition.
  10. Already a thread for this on this forum
  11. The truth of the matter, sadly this is. Steven, clear your mind must be if you are to discover the real villains behind the plot.
  12. On TheBridge and Corcoran, agree with you on both. On your not convinced Doolan will make it, careful you must be when sensing the future, Young Uberteeb. Your comment re Lovell/TheBridge that I have bolded is spot-on. Correct on all points. Next season I would like to see a team that regularily features the likes of TheBridge, Doolan, Burns, Cairney, Grehan, McBeth, Rowser, McGeough, Robertson. Mix these in with a few new signings who add bite, fight and motivation to the side, and it would at least be much more enjoyable to watch than 2/3's of this season has been. No to Maxy and Corrigan, unsure if Archie has another season in him (sad, but past year or two has seen a marked decline in his standards), use Donnelly sparingly, Paton and Boyle need to improve dramtaically over close-season or they should have no place in the team. Conroy has been ok, but whether he signs or is loaned for another 6 months, i'm not too fussed really. I could say Conroy and Hodge are two players i'd like to see play regularily IF they can up their game instead of being too inconsistent as they have been.
  13. Let the rest of us in on it? Got a link or able to type it here?
  14. On yesterdays row, after he went to her house and emerged to the waiting cameras, his perma-grin apology just didn't work - he should stop smiling, especially when it's clearly not a genuine smile, he just ends up looking like The Joker from Batman, and i'm waiting on him one day releasing his chemically altering everyday hygiene products, and inflicting (more) death, misery, hardship and madness on us all. Whatever you do next Thursday, VOTE!! ... and DO NOT put a X in the Labour box - CHOOSE ABL (anyone but labour)
  15. On the Wind-up??!! Secret, shall I tell you? Grand Master of Jedi Order am I. Won this job in a raffle I did, think you? How did you know, how did you know Dr Feelgood are mightier than Jethro Tull, Master Yoda? Master Yoda knows these things. His job it is. Much to learn, still you have. The dark side I sense in you.
  16. Hear what you are saying Twinny, makes sense in itself, but that certainly didn't happen on the last thread - links between songs were from any words in previous song title, so thought that was way/rules. Up to you/others to decide whther to start anew with more stringent rules or continue as we are. In the meantime: Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream - Simon & Garfunkel
  17. I know I know, but it's nice to dream of seeing one (or better, both) of the OF being treated according to the laws and punishments of the game that is meted out to anyone outwith the Ugly Sisters.
  18. Add me to the list of those who think Doolan is someone who will come good. He's still raw in places, but pacey and never hides, always trying to create or get into some space and with some good coaching and forming an understanding with striking partner and other players with a sustained run of games, think we will see him turn into a handy centre forward.
  19. Continuing the thread from the old forum, where you post a song name. The next poster has to use at least one of the words from the previous posters song name. e.g. Fire - Arthur Brown Fire Woman - The Cult Devil Woman - Cliff Richard As before, when you start it, its only one word (if you have the time, you can always link it to youtube or something). So I'll start with:
  20. Jethro Tull 43 Years, 42 albums (studio, live, compilation) Dr Feelgood 39 years, 36 albums (studio, live, compilation) Much of a muchness in output, down to personal taste really as to what is and what is not a msterpiece or the quantity of these, but since you're crazy while I am wise, over 800 years old and can travel the galaxy, I stand by my original statement and proclaim that you sir are Bungling in the Jungle
  21. Most of the clubs you mention who charge, usually have their highlights up within 24 hours. It's usually 5 days before Thistle get them on ptfc, so if they were to even consider charging a penny, they would have to seriously get their act together and run any such service much more professionally (sound familiar?).
