If you look at the league table as is, only the top 4 teams won today. So we steal a march on all our competitors. Unless of course we're competing at the top end...

Less neutrals. We had Glasgow to ourselves, now we don't. It's no great deal. I was annoyed because I could see no reason for it. I'm over it.

This midweek is set aside for Ramsdens. Next midweek for League Cup. Except for Sevco. I don't see why. Two games on in Glasgow at the same time, with no obvious reason for that.

Turns out Sevco are due to play their Ramsden's tie a week later than all the others, so they're at home to the 'wee' Rangers the same night we're at home to Cowden. Nice one, SPFL or whatever you're called. Can't exactly be good for our gate but what do we matter?

I'm glad you asked! The win at County had us 6th on 42 pts (at the split). Friday's result dropped a point and we went 7th, but United didn't beat Hibs so they dropped a point too and we're 6th again.

Then they won one, then they lost SIX in a row! Hardly a decent start. Not much better than Gerry Collins.

Not a bad set of results if we're looking at sneaking number 6 spot. Plenty of points dropped and County in freefall.

Can't see him dropping Fraser. Can't see him starting KH either. I reckon same starting XI as last week, different subs. KH to debut at some point.

Coming in here 2 bottles post Muzza. Always liked the guy. Good upper body strength. Held the ball well. And always there for the out ball. Better than the Shug IMHO. Don't understand why it went wrong for him in D3. In Archie we trust.

This is astonishing. They gave us a pounding at Firhill (in the second half), so much so that 3-3 felt like a win. I'd quite forgotten what it's like to be pounded. I'd have bet my house on them staying up. Luckily I'm not a betting man.
