  1. 1. The majority of Scotland supporters are decent human beings. 2. A large minority of the "Tartan Army" are total fcukballs. 3. Aiden McGeady is actually a very nice young man, there are far worse footballers who have committed far greater sins. Yes, I like Aiden McGeady. And I don't mind the boy McCarthy either. Good luck to them. 4. Is it really worth getting this stressed about?

    Car Wash

Massive bird just did a massive keech all over the wagon. Where near Charing Cross can I get the motor washed quickly? My preference is one of those outdoor set-ups where you give the boys three quid and it's done in minutes. Like the one that used to be near Firhill across from the fire station. Anyone?
  3. Wears number three, what is he called?
  4. Graeme? Good lad. Anyway, here's a picture of Willie Hodge. I mean, Bryan Kinniburgh. I mean ... http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/thistle-focus-on-football-and-not-board-games-1.1057113
  5. My hamster's called Boaby ... Good news about Archie.
  6. Fact of the day - Inverness CT's last away league defeat was at Firhill in November 2009.
  7. I do hope so. I'd hate for them to be discouraged from providing such opportunities to the support.
  8. Cut the Glaswegian some slack FFS. This is an open goal for Thistle fans.
  9. It often takes him a while to round up his clothes the morning after - they can be spread across a 1km radius after one of his 'jogs'!
  10. Happy birthday, Rodge, at least you got a night out with The Niz!
  11. Like George W, that's a dangerous precedent.
  12. Will only think about an Alba Cup semi once I've tamed my Euro 2012 rager.
  13. We're pish and we're going to the Euros.
  14. I've no idea. I'm not suggesting anything to be honest. Neither am I doubting what anyone has said. IF a Thistle fan spat at anyone, I would hope those with him or her would take that person to task.
  15. That's the bit that annoys me, as much as the spitting allegation itself. One Jags fan spitting you can write off as a tube. Many Thistle fans witnessing this and failing to pull him up for it and / or name and shame him - well that's every bit as much inexcusable.
  16. Disgusting - IF it happened. I was on that side of the ground and didn't see a thing.
  17. Correctamundo. Bottle of wine, six beers and the CD for a tenner!
  18. CHARITY CHOSEN (T.H.I.S.T.L.E. – the second half) Some of you will know and others won’t of my ambitious charity debut music release back in May – T.H.I.S.T.L.E. (Join the Facebook page to hear the track, find out more and check out some new videos of a certain madman singing live in various locations back in May.) http://www.facebook.com/pages/edit/?id=113243505380936#!/pages/THISTLE/113243505380936 While selling around 1,000 singles, between physical CD and digital download, in the space of a week is a fair achievement, I had high hopes of tickling the top 100 and nestling somewhere between Jordan and Cheryl Cole (now there’s an image for you!). Alas it wasn’t to be and with initial costs to cover, those sales have taken me just to the right side of break even. But obviously, being a charity project, I want to raise some cash – hence this secondary push for sales. All profits are shared equally between two causes – with 50% going to Partick Thistle community initiatives and the other half to my chosen local cancer charity, St Margaret of Scotland Hospice. St Margaret’s was chosen with the blessing of Thistle player Kieran Burns after the hospice took tremendous care of his father before he tragically lost his life to the disease in April. So even if you don’t like the track, the causes are good and genuine and well worth your £2 or 79p investment. The physical CD, at £2, featuring a B-side from Rio Callahan can be bought from: Fopp Records (Byres Road and Union Street) Spar (Cleveden Road and Dorchester Avenue, Kelvindale) The Q Club (city centre and south side) St Margaret of Scotland Hospice And at Firhill before the forthcoming Dundee and Stirling Albion home league games (details tbc). The digital release, at 79p, can be bought here: iTunes - http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/t-h-i-s-t-l-e-feat-rio-callahan/id370186464 So buy the track (even if you want to delete it straight away!), like the page, watch the video, tell your friends and support the charity single T.H.I.S.T.L.E. Thanks, BW. PS. Since I brought it out, Thistle have won three of three competitive games ...
  19. OK. I'll try not to spill the beans, particularly tricky at lunchtime.
