That could literally describe every thistle manger in every season …. It goes with the job. on Saturday we started with : sneddon, Milne, muirhead, Graham, lawless , bannigan , Fitzpatrick which is 7 out of 11 and if MacMillan had been fit that would have been 8 out of 11. thats not a new team that’s 3/4 changes the same as every other team in the league.

Ok …. I need to ask what is ‘ transitional season ‘ ? Since it seems to be the excuse of the week it was always going to be tough to get past DU given their finances but why should we struggle to get into the top 4 ? unless Doolans recruitment is poor

McCall was on a rolling contract just like Archie and he gets paid either till the end of the contract or when he is employed by someone else

As I said we don’t know …..remember the former chairman did doolan extra funds as well so the gap may not be as large as we think.

Doolan has yo take responsibility for signing numerous midfielders none of which are the defensive pivot we need and leaving central defence dependant on muirhead .

People say we lost our four best players…..holt, turner, doc and tiff…..who signed them? Whatever you say about McCall he has an eye for a player. i remember a few people saying Doolan will be good in bringing in players …..dear oh dear
