1. I think we should all take a deep breath and compose ourselves. If we are unhappy then we should contact the club in a polite and sensible manner. If they understand the feeling we have then they may change their mind. onethistle and The North Stand have been great and will continue to be great. Give Celtic the Main Stand and part of the Jackie Husband if need. Keep the North Stand as Thistle. The fixtures are not out. Nothing is set in stone. It can be changed.
2. I was really meaning what rows, seats, areas are available.
3. Stupid question but if I am getting a season ticket on my own as my friend says he will pay at the gate despite the benefits to himself and club how do I know what seat to choose? Is there an online seating plan? I would probably sit anywhere with him and his Under 16 nephew but good to have a fall back seat for a busy game like against the 'fugees.
4. Made me spit out my water over office keyboard. "Carry On Thistle". Cue Sid James hearty laugh.
5. Season tickets are on the up! Join the momentum. http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2013-2014/june_2013/season_ticket_sales_on_the_up
6. I do like Falkirks concentration on youth so have to give the club some respect. Combining youth setups as described above does make sense. Economies of scale, more players through the door, one vision of technique and skill (hopefully) and the teams involved have a natural pecking order in size and success. Would like to see Thistle and Queens Park co-operating more in a mutally beneficial way.
7. With Conrad Balatoni (Away) and John Baird (Away) top now sponsored by Nomads Supporters the remaining tops available are http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2013-2014/june_2013/player_sponsorship_opportunities AWAY TOPS – Christie Elliott, Mark McGuigan, Aaron Sinclair, Ross Forbes and new signing Paul Gallacher. Scott Paterson – top and boots Kenny Crichton - top and boots.
8. Read in "The Evening Times" McNamara using the world "moral". Now when people start saying this I always instantly become suspicious. Of course it was amazing I found this out as he has been very quite and keeping his own counsel while speaking to BBC, STV and the printed media.
9. Maybe I'm greedy but I think we can get something else. Boots? There must be 70 or 80 Nomads out there itching to help the club and show their support.
10. It would be good if your mate turned up with his drum etc regardless of who is playing. In fact I'd prefer if he brought some mates along instead of the drum! Clubs like Leicester, Wolves and Bradford have tapped into local Asian support as they have very large % in their cities, in fact Leicester is soon to be the first city in UK which will have offical white classification as less than 50%. The Asian community has not had a traditional history or ties with the local clubs (large immigration was only in late fifties/early sixties, cricket was dominant sport, previously it was intimidating) and many would end up supporting teams like Liverpool or Man Utd but these 3 clubs have reached out and been rewarded in turn. Whenever I have been to a game in London it is much more mixed but that is down to London being a melting pot of everyone from everywhere.
11. From official site .....just under a fortnight left to take advantage of our Early Bird offer - June 14th is the final date that you can take advantage of the "Early Bird" rate: £295 for Adults.
12. "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country" Another benefit. More upfront cash for the club to help them budget for squad transfers and wages.
13. Barcelona are the most overrated club in Europe. Debt ridden. Public subsidised. "Unicef" sponsored to prepare the selling of Qatari petro-dollars on their strip. Do my nut in.
14. Come on Nomads. Let's sponsor a couple of players and show the club and fans that we have lots of fans from across the globe. This season every penny counts and this gives us a could opportunity to contribute to the club if not able to pay in at the gate.
15. What's wrong with me this morning? Read the OP and felt a bit emotional. Hard swallow. Compose. Now talk to the idiot next to me in work. It must be my hormones. Touching sentiment.
16. Overly harsh on Paton. He played well. Tried very hard. Leader on the pitch. Anyones twitter banter is generally brutal. And also <ducks for cover> McNamara built the foundations, changed the philosophy of the club and got us off to a great start. Archie built on it and did outstanding, even better in terms of results but outside his money grabbing snidey greed you still have to acknowledge McNamara on football matters and Paton and Erskine should be welcomed back. I do encourage everyone to shout to Paton that he has a "biscuit for a head" to put him off.
17. 1 strip in 5 days from 13 individuals. Good work. With the 100+ Nomads out there I am sure we will be able to get another strip. Many will only log on here at different times or will have to check emails.
18.
As others have said the early Puma gear was topnotch.

I have a really nice PTFC Puma red cotton polo shirt with yellow and black braiding. Would like something similar and I do like the idea of a Fred Perry rip off in black or red. Yellow can be for the NGE casuals..

A "classic retro" looking trackie top always goes down well. Can't have enough of them.

Cagoule and training top for fives, jogging and going to the game would next be on my list.

Beanie hat. Puma ones were good for the cold.

I really liked the Thistle black away with stripe down the side which I purchased. The last away one with Thistle was also cracking. Not fussed about colour or style of home top but a something clever for the Away top like the Grey and Pink one would be ideal. I think a tartan one would work very very well ala the old Morton one from late nineties.

19. Minimum is £5000 a week excluding bonuses, sponsored Jaguar and luncheon vouchers.
20. It's good to keep Queens Park sweet. There is a good option there for us to take players with their amatuer status only allowing players to progress so far. As long as it is beneficial to both clubs then we could definitely have something official or unofficial setup between both clubs in developing and progressing players.
21. I'd happily pay in advance if that was needed to raise the capital to produce the DVD. Last season was a golden one.
22. Money sent Shuggie via paypal. I made sure I selected the right option so no fees for you.
