  1. Thanks for that. I think it means that we both need to get out more!
  2. Just to be clear I was only trying to establish who you were talking about as it could have been either the manager of Board, I was not saying the Board are perfect or have not made mistakes.
  3. I don't have the figures for what the away supports for the 2 Dundee & 2 Morton games were for this season compared to last season but even if they were larger that would not alone account for the increase.
  4. One thing I have found is that nothing really helps an angry football fan (sometimes they actually don't want anything to either).
  5. Thanks, I just wasn't sure if you were speaking about him or the Board.
  6. If you had said over the last 12 years then I would agree but our average league attendance so far this season is about 400 more than the average for last season.
  7. I don't quite follow your point, who is it you think is squandering our resources?
  8. The short answer, in my opinion, is yes. We have been inconsistent but apart from Ross County and Falkirk so have all the teams (even those with experienced managers). I think that our fans, and the fans of lots of other clubs, are frustrated with some of the things that are taking place at their club but more so with the overall structure/state of Scottish football as a whole. Add in the fact that there is a general lack of patience amongst football fans combined with the modern reality television show "somebody has to be voted out each week" attitude and it is a difficult time to be a manager of any club not just Thistle.
  9. For those of you who like or know someone who likes the old fashioned sweeties that we used to enjoy in our childhoods then have a look at this retailer and if you want to purchase something then please do so through easyfundraising: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/a-quarter-of.../ Lets keep working to make sure that we generate as much funds as possible for our football club. Thanks for your support!
  10. Something that I had not picked up on straight away is that unlike last year when it was one table of 30 teams this year it is 3 divisions of 10 so instead of having a one in thirty chance of winning £10,000 we have a one in ten chance of winning that amount!
  11. Congratulations to this month's winners: http://www.ptfccente...s/february_2012 Just to make Jaggernaut's mood worse can I also say - Fix!
  12. Just wanted to take the time to remind you about easysearch since I have been concentrating on easyfundraising offers recently. If we could get 100 Thistle fans (less than 10% of this forum's membership) to make 10 searches (only takes a few minutes) per weekday then a total of £1,300 would be generated per year. http://wearethistlef...ysearch.org.uk/ Thanks for your support!
  13. The Nike Store are offering free delivery on certain orders with the use of an online code through easyfundraising so take advantage and help to generate additional funds for our football club at the same time: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/nike/#35449 Lets keep working together to help the club we all support. Thanks for your support!
  14. On Checking the link for this the official drop off points (apart from at the club) are: Cadder Stores (58 Skirsa Street) M&C Grocers (1125 Maryhill Road) Malik & Co (1 Westercommon Drive) Hopefully the club will be speaking to Jags friendly pubs about them giving their cans to the club.
  15. Now is the time to start thinking about getting that Mother's Day gift and easyfundraising has plenty of offers with various retailers: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/mothers-day/ Another member has joined up taking us to 31 but there is always room for more so spread the word amongst your family, friends and colleagues. If we keep working together then we can have a positive impact on our football club. Thanks for your support!
  16. I would like to start this update by thanking a couple of people. To raise the profile of the schemes I approached Tom Hosie & Ami Small and as a result we had an article in the programme for the Morton game and an article on the club's website last evening so thanks for your help guys! We also have gained two new members of easyfundraising which takes us to 30 in total. The next step in generating more publicity is to get leaflets handed out at a game and I will approach the club about this. For those who have just joined and to remind others, you can raise funds without making a purchase by using the Free Funds section of easyfundraising: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/deals/raise-funds-for-free/ Lets work together to generate lots of additional funds for the club we all support. Thanks for your continued support!
  17. The scheme has now been launched and the final day is the 5th of May so let battle commence: http://www.irn-bru.co.uk/tfyt/
  18. Congratulations to last night's winners and thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket in what were fairly horrible conditions: http://www.ptfc.co.uk/news/2011-2012/february_2012/50_50_half-time_draw_winners_1
  19. Just over a week left of this month's competition: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/free-competition-uk/2012-02-viking/ Please remember to use easyfundraising for your online shoping to help generate funds for our football club. Thanks for your support!
  20. Remember to bring your cans along tomorrow please so we get off to a good start in this competition.
  21. Check out the "Deal of the Day" at Play.com to see if you can save yourself money whilst generating additional funds for our football club: http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/play.com/#38414 By using an initiative like this we can generate funds for our football club and surely that is something worth doing? Thanks for your support!
  22. I agree, I don't drink that much of it now but thankfully a couple of colleagues at work go through a few cans each day so I will ask them to give me their empty cans.
