  1. Im impressed by the amount of u who buy season tickets altho u know ur not going. Ive never really thought bout it, never been in that position, dunno what id do, but i am impressedby u lads great support
  2. Great news, thought we'd lose him, delighted with this. Miller and lawless next please. Wdnt mind seabo and frans too, not many in this team i want to punt to be honest i like them all!
  3. One of the worst in a long time. Players have completely checked out, not one of them got pass marks today. Midfield bullied by draper and tansey, 6-1 wd have been fairer reflection of their dominance. Play offs still a very real possibility, next week is huge, so many out of form players. dunno what archie does to be honest.
  4. Cant say anything that aint been said already, woeful coverage as per from the BBC, skysports aint much better
  5. im not 100% up to speed like yourself, but off the top of my head there's a few at Dundee - the keeper, Bain, Greg Stewart, Rory Loy, Kane Hemmings. Dundee United over past few years have had Andy Robertson, Blair Spittal, im sure 1 or 2 others im forgetting. I like the big centre half Hamilton got fae Livi Tena. Hearts got the boy from Queens, cant mind his name either, Daniel something? Not loads of players but there a few i would have liked to see us sign. But all those clubs ive mentioned at probably offering more money than us...
  6. Ackred meant to be scored by the way, my chubby fingers cant type on iphone!!
  7. I think we rejected hemmings before his cowdenbeath season, theres no guarentees he wda turned out the player he was without that season...had we signed him he may not have blossomed like he did at cowden so its a hard one to cal. But yeh Archie seems really focused on english leagues for recruitment, there have to be a few gems in scottish leagues if u look hard enough? Id love to see us sign alston from falkirk ife liked what ive seen of him past few times we played them, meant to have ackred a cracker vs the h*ns as well
  8. I totally agree, rowser played in some tough times for thistle, imo, no jags player would have been more deserving if a medal!! Im not looking to bring down murray, i didnt make the origin comparison, but im just surprised that quite a few people so readily dismiss rowser as a player and his contribution. But then i think other players are diddies who would probably surprise u guys, thats why we have the forum so we can chat about the jags
  9. I never rated him, start of season i agree, him and paton were outstanding in that run up til the draw at starks park, felt his season went off the rails after the sending offs etc. In terms of league winners medals - i cant be bothered looking at it, but im guessing murray spent a bit of time yo-yoing with st mirren then obviously ourselves, i wouldnt say its an out and out determining factor in a footballers overall ability. Lets compare how many medals alan shearer won compared with phil neville then? And Rowser spent a bit more time in the spl than murray did i wd guess ?? Could be wrong!! had scotland u21 honours also. Guess we need to disagree on this one, i would point to the fact that rowser won several player of the year awards during his time at thistle also, im not in the minority im sure. Yes u can spin it he played in a poorer team/teams, but the suggestion that he was holding us back from winning a league title to me is nowhere near fair, but its all about opinions
  10. Yeh its all about opinions, this crap about running about pointing, i never saw it. For me, rowser was better that shug red card waiting to happen murray. We hunted murray 2nd half of the season and went unbeaten, that was no coincidence in my view.
  11. what a lot of shite hardest working most commited jag ive ever seen edit: see my sig!!
  12. Highlights on bbc http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/scotland/35713629 Tommy wright is a fcukin dinosaur Says tehy dominated it but immediately follows it up with there was nothing between the sides Then says they had plenty of chances but didnt work the keeper Thank **** we've got archie i'd want to chuck it if we got someone like that in i couldnt listen to that pish every week
  13. pleased to see a positive formation, fancy Nesbit for a goal today
  14. Really proud of him for the level of football he's come from that he's now established himself in the premier league. True grafter who never quits and based on tue night one of our fittest players, well done elliot, get him signed up if he isnt already.
  15. Superb win, great team performance, all starting 11 plus obviously match winners off the bench. Elliot man of the match by a mile, bannigan great work rate and used the ball well, young Nesbitt looks classy, not afraid to try things, hope archie keeps the same attacking team for fir park. Lot of people round me getting on pogbas back, yeh at times hes frustrating, but he holds it up well, tires their defenders out and roughs them up, lay off the big man theres a player in there im sure of it.
  16. Not a mention of planned inspection on twitter or website all morning, zero communication, absolute garbage, aberdeen fans will have been on the road an hour by now coming down for this.
  17. with us and hearts now out the scottish, surely the sensible thing to do would play this game weekend of 5th march when i believe next round of scottish cup fixtures are?
  18. never noticed it until u mention but ur right, hes always the first on the scene
  19. great news, pretty much a complete full back, just needs to nick us 2-3 goals a season and he too will be looking at a move to a bigger club (hoping we keep him as long as possible!)
  20. Brannigan was brutal, but he was playing in a brutal team with a brutal manager. I like to think of someone who maybe had a shred of ability once in their career, but was pure total pish. I like to nominate Brian Hamilton - played in a league winning team, but was abso honking. Stephen McConologue, fcuking embarrassment of a footballer, had some ability but didnt bother his hole, and Barry Smith - just brutal week after week. I'm sure there's more but the first 2 players played in teams which won promotion, but still make it on to my list, that takes some doing. Also, despite all the goals etc, Jukka Santala is one of the worst professional footballers I've ever seen, and I've been watching Partick Thistle for 24 years.
