  1. Does Beattie still own Mcghees ?????????
  2. I am assuming that SS have paid us for the privelage of supplying the food from the pie stalls and they take all the profit, I wonder how much we make from the franchise
  3. Maybe we need to look to istall a returns queue as well at the pie stalls to speed the process up and also give the punters in the other queue a visual control on how good or bad the product is that particular day, "returns queue busy = stop standing in line the pies are crap, returns queue empty = stay in line the pies are edible (or everyones really drunk and has the munchies) I dread to think how the contract is with SS in regards price hikes, there is obviously nothing in it regarding minimum service, quality & hygiene levels, I'm sure I heard it has one season left but knowing our luck it probably has an extension if the supplier would like it.
  4. Hi Bilko, think its time you started following your big team full time now and stopped following this new team. You know it makes sense
  5. The club really need to address this as if the "eat else where" continues and grows, when it comes to putting it out to tender when SS finish their contract there will be no catering to tender out. Potential Caterer: So whats your average attendance Maxi or BOD: Oh 5000 now were in the top league Potential Caterer: Thats decent and how many times is Firhill used Maxi or BOD: Roughly 20 Potential caterer : "Thinking" (20 x 5000 = 100000 people say 20% buy a pie and bovril thats 20000 pies at £1 mark up after costs, this could work well) Oh thats quite a lot of folk Maxi or BOD: Yes attendances are up teams doing well Potential Caterer: So how many pies are sold on an average Saturday Maxi or BOD: 80, but they are handed out in hospitality at half time Potential Caterer:You sell NO pies?? Maxi or Board: No ones been buying them for the last season and a half, but the stalls do go through a few quenchy cups and twixs on a match day Potential Caterer: Don't call us, its not catering you need but a tuck shop
  6. £12K should be do-able I think we should be aiming to double that, if the club had push to pursue it but somehow I think this will go the way of REALSCOTTISHFOOTBALL
  7. Its the stability that sells the country to me, all those years and he keeps getting voted in the country must really love him
  8. With Hearts taking 4000 fans to Perth today, how is the club going to segregate the ground Main stand & part of JHS or North stand and part of JHS as they have done with Septic
  9. This BIG TV deal was actually BT buting ESPN out the contract, which they paid $4M for (Part of the £80M joinst Sky deal)
  10. My Dad commented this morning to me thatit was a good programme this year (again), Well done Tom again
  11. I thought all in the NS had to have a seat number in the NS so the new funky ticket would allow access plus have a backup seat in the JHS for when Celtic visit......... or have the office staff decided against that now???
  12. I see Mccoist is blaming Green's statement in the press for causing the deat............ jacket on a shakey peg now
  13. Hi Auld Yin, Spoke to my Dad this morning, he stated it was a shambles, someone on his seat too, contact the club they have sold you a product (A seat) and can't re-sell the same product with out your say so under sale of goods act, the club off field is a shambles at the moment, oh and it'll be 19 years in December The off field operation is no longer fit for purpose
  14. My Dad's seats was occupied, but they moved, and the ST holders behind my dad's seats were taken by other new ST holders, even though the guys behind have held they seats for years and renewed their seats right at the start, and they never moved.
  15. I agree with this, but the players put a hell off a lot into last nights game so we may have a few tired legs, I really want us to go all the way to Hampden in this tournament (And the Scottish Cup)
  16. I'm liking our play, knocking it well and running at them, we look the better team till the final shot
  17. Just imagine if we could all sign up at £60.......... think of the revenue, that's almost £12K from Nomads alone we are missing on. Now imagine we had a live commentary taking it to £75 a season or Live matches for Non UK residents (Like Falkirk TV Or Rangers TV) at say £120 a season, for the Nomad Tag...... the cash till could be bulging
  18. Agree a wee "Thistle reject, thistle reject" should do Hope Erskine gets a decent reception
