I hope we finish top six next season, but its disappointing to read that players are leaving because of a wage cut, I would've thought more money would be available with the other old firm team being in the league, and more tv money available. Hopefully Colin might invest in the first team to move us upwards.
When Ian McCall took over, he always had a plan, a 5 year plan to get us to the top league, now that we're here, albeit under Archie, just what is the plan to keep the club moving onwards and upwards ?
It's taken us 10 years to get back to the top flight in Scottish football, i want us to remain a top team, and be a force in Scottish football, we have 15 or so games for the club to move forward and not backwards, here's hoping the directors make decisions to ensure this.
Im not sure if there's enough room across the nolly for developement, i was thinking could we not redevelope the Firhill complex to have a stadium and training facilities ? Just an idea
I would not start blaming Archie just yet, money needs to come in to strengthen and get SPL quality players to be brought to the club in January, it is unthinkable going back to the 1st division, it could set us back another 10 years, the board of directors need to act soon.
Having the guy from the star and garter behind the away dugout might distract some managers, it would be good him playing along to Maryhill is wonderful etc.
Whos the wee guy that plays the bagpipes at the Star and Garter? If we cant get the north stand get this guy in playing the bagpipes behind the away dugout, it'll add more atmosphere for us without the north stand.
I know there is a price reduction for unemployed on jobseekers allowance which is good the club are doing this, what about people who are on a low income and are on housing benefit, will the club offer a price reduction ? Does anyone know ?
I believe in German football that prices have been slashed, reduce the prices, get more fans coming along,
Prices have been slashed in German and their teams are still successful.
