    Think if we play defensively we’ll struggle & nerves could play a part. If Ayr fancy going toe to toe with us, bring it on. Have to say I feel with this Thistle team, attack is very much the best form of defence.

    As much as I think we’re more than capable of shipping 3, I can’t see us not scoring so hopefully we go for an early goal & make the evening somewhat more comfortable. Akinemi is undoubtedly a good player, but we have good players all over the park, nothing to fear.

    Absolutely buzzing all day, can’t make it to Firhill but will be watching in the telly. This squad & Dools deserve to at least get to the play off final - won’t be easy, but we are better than Ayr, so nothing to fear if we turn up.

    Damage was done by the home games against Hamilton & Cove. So many missed opportunities but at least we are in the playoffs. Can’t believe the board budgeted for finishing second - absolutely crazy ‘business’ acumen there. Onwards, a big week needed.

    On our day we are by far the best team in the league. Priority now has to be securing playoff spot, ideally 2nd, but regardless, we need to be in the mix. Do that & we have a chance.

    Really good performance - excellent attitude as well. Can’t remember the last time we scored 3 excellent goals in a game. When we click, we are better than any team in this league. 9 massive matches ahead, with a spot of good fortune on the injury front we could well be right back in the mix come May.
