  1. Flying in from Amsterdam that morning especially for game, and meeting up with contingent coming from Campbeltown - really looking forward to it.
  2. I wont be there either but however at moment trying to make arrangements for game to be shown in Hotel Torenzicht in Amsterdam for anybody maybe on their way to Brussels for Scotland game. Hotel Torenzicht is situated in Red Light area and has been showing Scottish games all season. Will post nearer date if confirmed. 'Mon the Jags
  3. Would be great to have poster for next game, for posters already produced I have printed a few off and plastered them round the office. Now have a few Dutch colleagues taking an interest in how we are getting on. Got to spread the Jaggy gospel :-)
  4. I too have written to club asking for clarification of how we voted and if a yes vote then to refund my season ticket money forthwith. If they have voted yes I have also wasted nearly Eur 500 on flights I have already booked from Amsterdam with sole intention of coming over to watch the Jags, no chance of a refund on that.
  5. I like you will be demanding a refund unless there is immediate clarification from directors ie a no vote. I managed to get to a couple games last season and I liked the way the club in general was moving - younger team, better run club etc and genuinely thought we had chance of promotion so decided to buy a season ticket for forthcoming season. On the day fixtures were announced I even booked 4 flights for games in months running up to December, flying in on Saturday morning and back to Amsterdam next day. There is absolutely no justification whatsoever for NEWCO to be admitted to Div 1 apart from greed on behalf of the SPL and SFA. Should our board of Directors even consider accepting the NEWCO then I will demand a refund but unfortunately will have wasted over Eur 400 on flights that I will not use. With my family residing in Campbeltown there is no way I can even head there to visit them in the time between flights. And I cant see the club refunding the cost of the flights. If the board of Directors will not listen to the opinion of the fans then I am finished with Thistle and Scottish football. I also have an Ajax season ticket and one of the better ones in the ground and this is costing me less than what I was willing to give to Thistle. Thistle is where my heart belongs but this is being severely tested currently
  6. Good work by the club - potentially a nice little money spinner. Hope both Celtic and Everton send reasonable strong teams as Celtic are playing Ajax same weekend over here in Amsterdam. Actually could be a unique day with Jags humping Celtic in Glasgow and my Dutch team humping them over here
  7. Pass my thanks to Donald, and ty to yourself for posting it. Not often get to see the family with me living abroad and Campbeltown not being easiest place to reach , so to get a pic like that is great momento.
  8. Tommy, can you post the link to the facebook page as I can't find it - doh!!!!!. Think you took pics of the family today before the game and would love to see them.
  9. Afraid you are incorrect about that one, Cardiff never knicked it from Ajax - if anything it was a joint effort. The first time it was actually sang was at a friendly between Cardiff and Ajax 4 years ago in Cardiff. Ajax never sang that song before at ArenA. There was a bit of tension between the fans during first half and the DJ put the song on at half time and ended up with both sets fans singing. First home game of the season after that game, VAK 410 Ajax ultras started singing it during the game and by next home game and every game since, it was being played as last song before 2nd half commenced. A lot better than some of the Dutch pub music played at ArenA before and during games
